“We loved this motel! First off, the two dogs that greeted us along with the owner were super friendly and loved the attention we gave them. The place itself was very clean, quiet and had plenty of green space for our dogs to snoop. Many small, homey touches gave the rooms an up north cabin kind of feel, versus a motel. The beds/pillows were very comfortable and the fridge was good sized too. A fan in the room was a major bonus!
I highly recommend this motel if you want a quiet, comfortable night's rest and like supporting local, small businesses that are very dog friendly. We'll be back!”

“First . Let me say the staff is great and the place is clean. We’ve stayed here several times in the past.
This time we had an issue that was a frustrating and caused some discomfort.
Our door wouldn’t open unless you literally shouldered it with all your weight to force it open. It was like it was stuck. My husband had better luck forcing it open.
One time rather then mess with it I used my friends bathroom rather then try to mess with the door.
I don’t have enough power behind me to force the door.
We did tell the manager and they were unable fix it.
There was time, it took two of us ladies to push to get it open .
Finally, it was so stuck to the point I bruised my elbow from trying to force push it open. The manager took a photo of the large bruise. Nothing else was mentioned on what would be done or if we would be comped a night or who this photo was being sent to.”
