“I had some issues with Old National Bank locations here in the Madison area which resulted in numerous overdraft fees. Since I opened my account in Stevens Point I needed to call them to address the issue. They took care of all the fees and were very friendly. This snowballed into another issue when I tried to redeposit my checks. When I called back I spoke to an assistant manager named Amber. They were proactively removing the overdraft fees since the previous day. This bank should be the shining example of all of Old National Bank”

All the national bank chains would not even meet with me but this bank did. Community First Bank really took the time to get to know me and took a chance when I'm not sure many other banks would have. Like any relationship, nothing is always perfect but what sets Community First apart from the others is simple- When there is an issue or concern you can actually speak to a knowledgeable and local human being. They help, instantly and with pleasure. The only reason I decided to write this review is because they have proven to me over the last 12+ years that there are very few outfits better. “Been a member of CoVantage for a long time now and they have been great to work with for anything whether it be using their checking, savings, bill pay, and even various types of loans. They also typically have their loan interest rebate every year that you get a percentage of your interest back which is awesome. I find myself always going to the Plover location now even though I'm in Point because I love the new advanced ATMs that you can make deposits 24/7, it's game changing. Hopefully the other locations will at least get one of these. Overall I have nothing but good things to say about CoVantage.”

“I've banked here for over 20 years. In that time I've had a few compromised debit cards. From a fraudulent $700 charge all the way down to a $1.50 soda machine scam. Every single time I've had an issue US Bank has had my back. Canceled fraudulent charges while pending and reimbursement for fraudulent charges completed. This company does know what they are doing. I had to do a review after seeing a few of the 1 star Yelp and Google reviews. The bad reviews don't seem relevant to a typical experience here. If you are doing anything at a bank besides a standard deposit or with draw you should plan on spending some time there. Anything else is just poor planning on your part. Also I would never expect a standard bank teller to know everything there is to know about the banking industry. Call customer service and get someone that can directly cater to your situation. That is what they are there for.”
