Waters Edge Motel is a great place for a family reunion or a couple's getaway, offering cabins, a lake house, and motel rooms right at the river's edge. The setting is gorgeous, with beautiful views of the river and bluffs. The rooms are large, comfy, and quite clean, with comfortable beds and wonderful wifi. Some units are like a one-bedroom apartment with a kitchenette, and each has its own character with updates where needed. It is a very clean and well-maintained fishing resort with a vintage, hometown feel. The friendly staff provides fabulous and unprecedented service. The location is perfect, with a little lake great for families and the Mississippi River close by. The resort has its own boat landing and bait. There are many fun things to do, from water sports and fishing to visiting nearby parks, museums, and restaurants. Guests can enjoy great fireworks on holiday weekends. Some minor nuisances include gnats, suggesting bringing insect spray, and noise from nearby train tracks, though some find it unnoticeable. Overall, it is a wonderful, positive experience and a highly recommended place for couples and families.

Great accommodations, great people, and good information! For us when fishing, the location gives options to fish either La Crosse or Genoa depending on the circumstances. That option has made our 3 generation spring fishing trips successful! Thank you Waters Edge!³

We stayed in a lakeside cabin & it was so nice. Very clean and comfy. The staff was very welcoming and the cabin was perfect. We definitely will be back (:
