“This is an old world treasure of a hardware store. Simply put, they have what you need. I needed cedar for some benches, they had beautiful lumber. I needed handles for the benches, they had two types. The customer service is great and the prices are fare. I have purchased from them over the last 20 years. And I still recommend them. Stop by for all your hardware and lumber needs.”

“Best garden center in town by far. Prices are great and I can find many specialty soils/fertilizers that no where else has. (Including Fox Farms) Always love this place and the atmosphere there. Staff included, are very knowledgable about plants and are very willing to help or answer any questions.”

“The Hermantown Walmart is always a pleasant shopping experience with a great selection of items and it always has the essential items in stock on the shelves. The associates that work here are all very hard workers and no matter how busy they are they always take the time to ask if you need help and treat you as if you're the #1 customer every time you're in the store. The bathrooms are always extremely clean and makes them feel less like a public restroom. The checkouts are always going at a steady pace and the self checkout people are also so very helpful if they need to assist at the registers. The staff is always very eager to make your shopping experience the best they can. I enjoy every shopping trip to this store and always leave happy with my purchases. It's also extremely nice that no matter what cart I get to use while shopping always rolls really good and you can tell the associates go the extra mile to ensure that they are cleaned on a regular basis. The prices are very hard to beat at the store and the deals are always pointed out with big red flags and the produce is second to none and always fresh and delicious. There is 3 Walmarts within 15 minutes of my home and I'll always choose the Hermantown Walmart for all my shopping needs. Even of there is not an item in stock the associates always scan the self and try to get the items from the back or explain why it is out of stock and when it will be available again. The photo center is always super fast at getting photos made when needed too.”

“I had yo buy a section of Deck railing and after I selected the railing the staff helped take it off the rack for me.. AND.. Showed me the mounting brackets that made the install super easy!! I would not have known about the brackets if he hadn't said anything.. Im so grateful he took the time to help make this job go smoother, easier and faster.. Thank you soo much!!!”

“We had purchased a Samsung refrigerator for my daughter in the twin cities at a Home Depot store near her. There were issues with the refrigerator and I was getting nowhere with Samsung honoring the warranty. In desperation, I went to the Duluth Home Depot store near my own home to ask for advice and Dave in the appliance department was able to help me. He stepped in- right then and there to and call Samsung directly... and got them to correct the situation. This store had no obligation to us for what happened with a purchase in another store, yet Dave went the extra mile to help a customer out and I can never thank him enough. Selection of products is one thing, but customer service is what really matters. I shop at Home Depot and will continue to do so. I would recommend this store to anyone.”
