“The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and down to earth. Can't can't afford all the repairs at one time? They'll give you a report of their inspection and prioritize which repairs or replacements need to occur, based on your budget. They'll be frank about repairs that may not have to be done immediately, and recommend when indeed your vehicle should return.I started out as a customer of the Gages Lake shop, at the time residing down the street from The Gages Lake road garage. As I have since moved further north, I now visit their Lake Villa shop; once again, thankfully being a short walk away.That said, even if I were 50 mi away I would still prefer to bring my vehicles here... They're trustworthy, competent, and practical. Heck, at both shops there have been occasions when they found less expensive ways to fix an issue and subsequently charged me LESS than their original quote... Passing on the savings to me.”

“Daniel and his partner were very patient when they had to wait a half hour to get access to my RV because the storage place was closed and I forgot my keys. Once we got in, they went to work and replaced all four tires within 25 minutes and did a fantastic job. Daniel is a good man and communicates well. “The service was great. Rob squeezed me in not only once it twice. I had to cancel the first time because my child was sick. The heat sheld from under my car was hanging down. It needed to be clipped back in place. In and out in about 15 minutes. But not only that didn’t even charge me. What? That is absolutely unheard of. Must have know it had been a rough last couple of days, it really made my day, heck my week. Definitely going back.Service: General repairs & maintenance”

Had a flat tire last night, called this morning & they said bring it in and we’ll get it done. Sure enough they got me in an out quickly enough at the last minute during the holiday season. “Needed to get my brakes inspected and decided to give Mavis a try. I am new to the area and have horrible experiences at other companies' shops. By far the BEST place to get work done. I was greeted by friendly staff. Everyone was very communicative and knowledgeable. They showed me what was wrong and gave a detailed explanation to what was going on. They even help me arrange a ride home so I didn't have to wait at the shop. The store manager Anthony was great! Honest and very helpful. When I came to pick up my car. “My car was towed late at night to the Gurnee location for a tire the was blown out and off the rim. The next morning when I called at 7am, they not only had my tire already assessed but had it scheduled in to their day. They stayed in contact with me throughout the process of replacing the tire along with estimates and a thorough inspection was done on all tires for me. Everyone was very professional and empathetic to my stressful ordeal and work was done efficiently and without delay. Big shout out to the staff and to Reuben who were right on top of my repair.
