Badger Prairie County Park is a 317-acre park located just east of Verona. It serves as a fantastic destination for outdoor enthusiasts and families alike, offering a wide range of activities. The park features expansive green spaces ideal for picnics, casual strolls, or relaxing. It has a well-marked trail network for hikers, bikers, and runners, which connects to the larger Ice Age National Scenic Trail and the Military Ridge State Trail. The park also includes mountain bike trails. One highlight is its dog-friendly amenities, featuring what may be the best fenced dog park in the area with two separate areas, including one for smaller dogs. The playground is good and well-designed for children. The park has a shelter facility and picnic areas, though the benches and tables could use some work and there is not a ton of space under the shelters. Facilities include restrooms and a covered pavilion. It is a beautifully maintained gem with something for everyone, from open grass and an aeromodeling field to play fields, making it a highly recommended spot for both locals and visitors.
Great quality field, really good fun and also a nice playground for young kids.

Small dog area Quiet and relaxing for my 19 yo dog who has vision issues. Due vision loss, she startles easily so having a Quiet area for her to walk around is really great. The main park was much busier.

Great park for the dogs. I wish they had water there.
