Garner Park is a well-loved outdoor space that offers a variety of amenities and activities. It features six dedicated pickleball courts that are protected from the wind by being situated in a wooded area. The courts are great for competitive play, especially in the mornings, although they do have some cracks that players should watch out for. The park provides ample parking nearby and has a large, attractive shelter with a lower level that offers good protection from snow and rain. The shelter's design and view are highly appreciated, adding to the park’s appeal. In addition to pickleball, Garner Park has a paved walking path that winds through the park, passing by a prairie area and a playground, making it a popular spot for walking and relaxing. During winter, the park features a hill perfect for sledding, and it remains busy throughout the year. The park also has many trees, open areas, and a shelter that makes it a nice place to hang out or walk around. However, some aspects could be improved. The pickleball courts are located down a hill, which might be challenging for those with walking difficulties, and there are no water fountains or porta-potties by the courts—visitors need to bring their own water. Parking near the fields can be a long walk, especially during events. Overall, Garner Park is a beautiful and versatile park suitable for various outdoor activities.
Lovely well maintained family park -clean, with excellent facilities and a snack bar near the baseball fields.

A beautiful park. Six dedicated pickleball courts. Ample parking close by. Swanky-looking shelter that has a lower-level that would probably help protect from snow and several places that would protect from rain.

Huge park tucked off Mineral Point. Trees, open area, shelter, playground, and walking trails. A really nice spot to hang out or walk around.
