“Pleasantly surprised and better than I expected. It's been updated and has a contemporary feel, very professional staff at check in, and a good breakfast. The location is easy from the interstate and only about 5 minutes to downtown Wausau.”

“I personally thought everything was great. My Husband had a complaint as the TV didn't work correctly. It worked, but the quide on it wouldn't. Our sons next door work. Which didn't bother me abit. Kids loved the pool!!
We had breakfast downstairs in the restaurant it was all great.”

“Lily was nice I called ahead of time to check if room available after working a shift and walking into an ice storm and I live in a different city and I was really tired after work . She told me a room was available. I arrived and she told me she is waiting for the room to be cleaned and should be ready in a hour and she offered to call me . Lily called me when room was ready which didn’t take long and I was thankful for that
The Room was nice and clean the hygiene products are mounted in convenient locations in the room
* Plenty towels
* Bed soft
* Nice tv with my name
* Only recommendation is better plan for housekeeping because I was checked in maybe 30 minutes went in my room layed down and then someone knocked on door and opened right away and said “ housekeeping “ before I could even respond it scared me that someone could just walk in she then apologized & said that she had the room listed as a check out . Also in the morning they knocked and I was only booked for one night it would’ve been more convenient for housekeeping to round on my room after check out versus disturbing me it scared me again because I was in the shower the morning they knocked .”

“We often stay at the Jefferson to see shows at the Grand Theater, which is within walking distance. Also, my husband has had many eye procedures and surgeries, and the Eye Clinic is just down the road. The hotel is clean, and the staff is helpful.

Hotel parking is a problem. If you want to park in the lot, you have to be here around check-in time. The lot fills fast. After that, you have to walk to the parking garage or another lot.

They offer breakfast for $12 a plate, and it really wasn't all that good. It would be good if it was free. We prefer the Mint Cafe for breakfast.

We usually stay in a normal room, but there was none available, so we forked over the money to stay in this suite.”

“Very romantic place — clean, cozy, and welcoming.
The outside area is nicely secluded, making it perfect for picnics. The hotel manager, Barbara, is exceptionally friendly and professional, ready to answer questions and assist. Breakfast is tasty, and the location is convenient. Altogether, it’s everything you need when traveling far from home.”
