I was decorating for my daughter’s baby shower and had forgotten to pick up the meatballs from Bunzels !!!
It was 5:15 and they close at 5:30!!
I live 22 min away and immediately called in a panic!
Mike, from the meat department assured me that he’d be there for me, regardless if I was a little late.
I was so thankful for this wonderful store and have been raving about this particular situation to so many of my friends.
It’s not common today, to find a business with a heart and soul.

“I love this local butcher shop. The meats are the best! The monthly meat box is worth every penny. All staff members are friendly and helpful. Customer service is amazing. This morning I showed up at 9:20 and the doors were locked. They open at 10 during the week (we usually go on weekends). We were let in immediately and were able to get what we needed. Just a great place to buy healthy and delicious food.”

“Great company and amazing customer service. I had ordered a batch of sausages after quite a bit of consideration and hesitation, however, Usinger’s is a company I’d gladly do business with again. I hadn’t received shipping notification yet, but my order arrived at my door, I was thrilled at the speed. Unfortunately, it was delivered warm (not Usinger’s fault). Brian immediately reached out without requiring me to notify them, they explained there was a mistake in pallet pickup by their shipper, but outlined specific instructions, as well as sharing that they were going to work very hard to get a fresh order shipped out the following week. They had my order to me in a matter of days (very nicely packed in a styrofoam lined box with dry ice), just extraordinary, from Wisconsin to Virginia. When I did have questions, Brian not only answered those questions, but also offered additional information very promptly.
The values and customer service that this company showed in my single transaction, first experience is something we RARELY see today n today’s marketplace. I cannot wait to enjoy the sausages with my family.

“I don't know why I keep forgetting that if I pay just a bit more for meat at Ray's, I and my family enjoy our meals so much more. The flavor is so much better than a big chain grocery store.
So I decided to buy two beef brisket at Ray's this time versus a chain grocery... FOUR DOLLARS A POUND MORE EXPENSIVE AT RAY'S for what LOOKS like the SAME type of cryo pack. Never again will I purchase a brisket from Ray's.

“We got our fresh turkey here. It was delicious, had a great earthy flavor. Very moist, breast was larger than typical. Best turkey so far. They have great cuts of meat if you are looking for something special. Appeared as though they were dry aging some beef but I'm not an expert.”

“I had 2 deer done at bunzels this year. De-boned & vacuum sealed the meat up north. Froze it right away then brought it to Bunzels a day later. I got 120 pounds of brats, polish, steaks, jerky, hot dogs, cheddar jalapeño stix, cheddar jalapeño brats, summer sausage, etc.Very happy with Bunzels. They finished my deer in under a week. Could I get my deer processed up north for a little less? Yes but I’d also lose 6 hours driving to get it and gas money. Cost evens out. I’ll always get my deer done at Bunzels”
