Hours: RMHC Eastern Wisconsin provides a home away from home for families with children in the hospital. It is described as an immense blessing and a wonderful place that offers immense help during hard times. The facility is very clean, with warm, welcoming, and very nice staff and volunteers who provide comfort and support. Families are given a place to stay, with all their needs accommodated. The house has plenty of food in general use fridges and pantries, offers free meals, and provides snacks. There are game rooms and lots for kids to do, including toys, allowing families to associate with others. It is a place for relief and hope during stressful times, where families do not have to worry about their needs being met. The organization is thanked for its role as a team of true heroes, offering critical support so parents can be with their children. Community support, such as donating 'pop-tops' for fundraising, helps sustain their work.
