“Listen, about prices. It's simple. Why are the prices high and only climbing higher?
BECAUSE PEOPLE ARE BUYING THOSE PRICES. A LOT of buying.
It's pretty much that simple. Thrifting has EXPLODED in popularity, even surpassing traditional retail (go ahead and look up). This mixed with the parallel boom of reselling/online secondhand markets.....business is GOOD.
If those pricey items were just sitting on the shelves for weeks...prices would go down. But sales are WAAAY up. So yeah. something to think on.
....and before you start rationalizing that its all free stuff they are getting....yes thats true, but merchandising in a theift store is 3x more labor intensive than traditional retail.”
“Love going to this gym. Location is great from my home. I feel that it is accessible for all. We appreciate the caring staff in the childcare. They make a great effort to have relationships with their families. Liberty and other staff we see daily give us a warm welcome and appear to genuinely care for my children. I recommend the YMCA to any moms who are looking for a gym with good childcare.”
