“I drove from Michigan to visit my sister in Illinois and we drove up to Creative pals. In Wisconsin. Arriving I thought “oh it’s such a small store”, and then when I left 3 1/2 hours later, I still had not seen everything there was to see. The store was well organized, and had a great variety of papers stamps, dies, embellishments- just about anything you could want. Staff was very friendly. I only wish it were closer to home.”
“The only thing bad about this place is some of the pricing. $2300 to clean my cats teeth and perform a few extractions on infected teeth and $35.00 for a nail trim on my dog.
The vet that I see is very nice, she doesn't push unnecessary vaccines. and is understanding of my holistic approach to caring for my pets even though she's not a holistic vet.
Apparently they were busy in clinic today. I dropped my cat off for bloodwork at 7:30am and didn't get him back until 4pm. When I called for an update I sat on hold for 20 minutes. Ridiculous hold time!”

“Wonderful weaving resource, lucky locals can do classes and the rest of us can buy from an excellent range of cotton, silk, wool, tencel and other yarns. Kind and helpful advice, knitting and crochet also covered. We detoured on our way into Chicago; it was easy and well worth it. Definitely worth a visit from beginners like me to sophisticated experts.”

“This place is WILD! We loved it! Totally vintage - lots of deadstock and crafting paraphernalia you could never find anywhere else. Make sure you ask her to open the dollhouse store next door. It’s a trip! Her prices are super reasonable - ignore the other weird reviews. Millennials and younger will love it here. Total nostalgia.”

“Hobby lobby is ADDICTING!!! enter at your own risk! Haha. No but seriously, the store is awesome. You can find anything and everything craft and hobby related plus a ton of home decor and outdoor decor. Everything is very neat and organized. Hobby lobby is always so peaceful, smells good, and puts you in a good mood.”
“I came to return and purchase some things. I was adamant I purchased something there but I must have purchased it els where. The man behind the register was so kind and the woman manager was very kind too. They didn’t belittle me or make me feel like I was putting them out of their way. I really appreciate customer service like that! Ty:) (I was in there today 12/30/25 and left like 15 minutes ago 7:02pm. “Purchased suede and a belt kit. I wear the belt from the kit. Suede is great. I purchased polyester yarn and wool yarn. I made a basket with some of the polyester yarn. Photos of polyester yarn crocheted white clothesline for a basket. I used Hobby Lobby gold yarn for convertible mitts, mittens extra warmth in winter with a glove or mitten sewed on my coat with sewing thread.”
