“Pay no mind to any poor reviews! MKE Outdoor Exchange has easily become our favorite store! John and his family are kind heart and genuine people. We have always been greeted with a smile and the use of our first name. I recommend this store to people like I’m making commission off of it ? Very good pricing, great consignment program, knowledgeable when it comes to equipment. John and his family are standing on the right side of history and their hard work and dedication is obvious is all that they do.”
“What an amazing shop! It's clear that so much love and care went into this space. The selection is fantastic and the owners are warm and friendly. The overall vibe is fantastic.”
“Excellent antique store with a wide variety of goods that are in fantastic shape and priced fairly. The selection of women's clothing was particularly impressive with several vintage pieces that were in perfect condition. My girlfriend bought a 1940s dress that fit her perfectly And I bought a sheepskin jacketItems are in a far better condition and are far more interesting than the usual mix of junk and rust you see at antique stores. Despite that, the prices are very fair for the quality. The owner is very nice as well. Overall, highly recommended”

“Recently discovered this resale shop and I'm so happy i did. We went when they had the red tag bag sale. Meaning that all red tag items you can fit into the bag will only cost $1. We scored some amazing deals and the shoes were no more than $6. What a great store will be returning.”
“Amazing selection for women. Tons of amazing vintage jewelry for great prices, tons of amazing vintage high end dresses mostly larger sizes 6-12. Also was able to purchase a Vintage Victoria Secret gown and robe set, tons of amazing small clutch purses. Great variety, prices, and service!!”

2500 N Mayfair Rd, Wauwatosa“Came in today to do some shopping and had my little kids with me. Ashley was working and saw that my kids were bored and offered to sit and hangout with them so I could look around. It might be the nicest thing anyone has done for me in a long long time. Ashley has a kind and pure soul and is a beam of joy. It was such a delight to cross paths with them.”
“Great shoe selection! Was able to find my daughter some back to school shoes and came back to find some bday shoes for her at short notice. VT and the rest of the staff were very helpful! Will definitely be back.”
“Recently purchased some skis and had an issue with one set. They spent an hour working through the issue with me and finding a replacement set to get me back out on the slopes. Very friendly! I will definitely be back”
“Super cool shop! The most thoughtful and engaging art and immersive experiences. Well styled, ever changing, and some of the best true vintage around. Also contributes to our city as the host to other important Milwaukee events like One Trick Pony (vintage flea) and Hovercraft (Milwaukee's premier handmade event).”
“TRUE vintage is sold here! Very quaint shop that is packed with pieces from a wide range of decades, as well as accessories and décor. A little dusty and disorganized, but fun to go digging.”
“This was the coolest vintage shop I have ever been to. The pieces and rare collectibles are so unique and reasonably priced. I had so much fun exploring what was available. It took a lot of restraint not to buy everything I saw. I ended up taking home a pillsbury dough boy cookie jar, Chicago bulls leather jacket, John Deere mug and set of tiger mugs and pitcher. The staff was so knowledgeable, friendly and helpful.”
“It's a wonderland! The store is set up so beautifully, showcasing great quality furniture and artwork. I have a fun time looking through the store. Because of the setup, the stock sells and the store displays change often. Good quality and unique things.”
“Wow this place is amazing. Super nice and attentive. Lots and lots of stuff! You'll probably find what you're looking for here. The majority of the things did not have price tags, which I found to be really inconvenient because I didn't want to have to keep asking how much this and how much that cost. For that reason alone, I would only return if I could locate what I really wanted here. Additionally, there is a service fee for using a credit card. Go check them out. I think you'll enjoy it.”
“Really cool shop! Lots of vintage and antique treasures to explore, and the shopkeepers were wonderful to talk to. Mainly furniture, jewelry, books, records, and and funky little items. Cool to check out with a dear friend and just explore. Needs more attention!!”
“Such a upscale, awesome space filled with delights. If you are looking for something classic, curious or dazzling and money is not an object, check this place out. Very cool circus banners, great costumes and exquisite furniture await.”

5317 S 108th St, Hales Corners“I was shopping for some fall clothing today in the area, so I decided to stop and check this store out. I have been to other Salvation Army locations, but never this one. I found some great sweaters here. Prices are pretty standard compared to other thrift stores currently. I believe most items I bought were between $4.99 - $6.99. There was the sweetest man working the cash register, too! My only issue with my visit was an employee who approached me with a pretty rude tone. She seemed irritated with me and I’m not sure why. Maybe I was doing something wrong and didn’t realize it or maybe she was having a bad day ?♀️ Anyways, I was still very glad I stopped here and would definitely recommend stopping by.”
“I think that we have some great deals in this Store. We have half off each week off 1 color. I think it's a great place to shop. Please everyone just come in and check us out. Thank you.”
“Mari was an absolute ray of sunshine in our day. She was so sweet and kind, making checkout and a hard day so much better. Julieona was also super helpful and even called me to confirm that certain pieces of clothing that I was selling were mine. The women working there were all very friendly:)”
“I had an amazing shopping experience at Plato's Closet! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by friendly and helpful staff who made me feel right at home. The store was impeccably organized, making it easy to browse through the fantastic selection of trendy and gently-used clothing. Not only did I find some stylish pieces that fit my budget perfectly, but the quality of the items exceeded my expectations. It's evident that Plato's Closet takes great care in curating their inventory. What sets this store apart is its commitment to sustainability. It's refreshing to see a business that promotes eco-conscious shopping by giving pre-loved clothing a second chance. Plus, the prices were unbeatable!I can't say enough about the exceptional customer service and the overall positive atmosphere. Whether you're a fashion-savvy shopper or just looking for great deals, Plato's Closet is a must-visit. I left with a smile on my face and a bag full of fabulous finds, and I'll definitely be returning soon. Five stars all the way!”
