“We had called Allis Doors and Windows, looking for an automatic door opener. Abby (the lady in the office), explained that they didn't sell the door openers, that they only sold windows and doors. But, Abby didn't stop there, She proceeded to help me look for a company that DID sell the door opener. I was so impressed by her fantastic customer service that went above and beyond, I told her that we would be looking into buying a door and windows soon also. Approximately 2 months later, I called Abby back and asked for some quotes. Needless to say, yesterday we had one door that is handicapped accessible (threshold), and 5 windows installed. The men arrived at 8 a.m. and worked very hard at getting everything installed. They were finished at 5, without ever taking a break! The Installation team was courteous, very attentive to our needs (we use wheelchairs in home), and very clean. The Installation crew, cleaned the windows and rehung the blinds and drapes for us. I was going to call this a.m. to tell Abby thank you again, but when I turned on my phone, Abby had already called and left a message, to follow up. The Customer service is OUTSTANDING! I am so thankful that I stumbled upon this business!”

“I would absolutely recommend Basement Specialists. Very much appreciate Lyle and his team's quick response, knowledge, and integrity. We were worried about water in our basement. Some contractors might pressured us into to expensive fixes. He responded after normal working hours and asked questions to understand the situation, then helped us understand what we needed to do to remediate. Excellent service.”

Update 19 June 2025: had another great experience here. The cover for the outdoor conduit outlet body that feeds electrical to my garage has been missing for years. While I couldn't just buy the cover, Stavros helped find and measure a product to ensure proper fit before I ventured out to the store. I am so grateful for this, and the part fit perfectly. He also helped me with another matter, excellent service, and so kind. A couple others helped along the way and were equally kind. I know it's customer service, but it truly felt genuine and I really appreciated that.”

“Zach/Zack in hardware helped me find what I was looking for, and gave me more details about what I needed to get for my project. This is the Home Depot I always go to, but this was the first day that anyone has ever approached me to see if I needed help finding things/figuring out what was appropriate to get for the job. I’ve always sought workers out, but he approached me right away, probably knowing that I was just trying to figure things out on my own.

“Angel and Mari were super helpful. Angel helped us hunt down the microwave we were looking for way up in the rafters. Mari helped load it in the car in a separate cart so my toddler could stay in the racecar cart. Thank you!!”
“I always pay my bill in-store due to a previous issue that happened. That being stated, that's why I give them a 4 star rating. They send me, like 7 to 8 reminders ( per month) that my bill is due. However, going in to pay it, I end up waiting for someone at the service desk. They need more help at the desk or some just (specifically) designated to take customer's payments.”

“This store is only receiving a 5 star because of Nicole (Manager). My mother and I came in today to purchase some appliances and some issues occurred with lack of customer service. I asked to speak with the manager and Nicole came in and made everything right. Her management skills and ability to appease the customer was above and beyond. She not only saved the store from a bad review but she also earned them a sale which was a lot. (3 big ticket items) The way Nicole listen to my concern, apologized for her staff and then corrected the issue was impeccable. If I worked there she would be employee of the month. Thanks again Nicole you are so much more than a supervisor, you are a true leader. Thanks again for making my Mother’s Day by helping her order the appliances she needed.”

Just wanted to give a big thanks to Joe over in the Lumber Department. I came in with a pretty rough idea for a project I was working on, and he really helped me pull it all together. He knew exactly what I needed, gave me solid advice on what wood would hold up best, and even helped with figuring out some of the cuts to make things easier for me later on.
Super friendly, easy to talk to, and you can tell he knows his stuff. He made the whole process way smoother than I expected. If you’re working on something and not quite sure where to start, go find Joe—he’ll get you set up right.

“Trust me I have NEVER gushed about a big box home improvement place until now. I think there might be a new manager because I heard this woman making sure that all of the associates were greeting all of the guests. Fantastic! They are well staffed and if you ask where to find something you get an immediate response and sometimes they will take you to the aisle to find the product. Years ago this location was a ghost town and you had to hunt down people - now they are available in almost every location. They had an awesome sale on mulch so I needed 50 bags purchased over two trips. Each time a nice kid would help me load the truck because it is back breaking to lift those bags. Today I drove my heavy cart down the wrong aisle and had to load my car from the cart that was hanging in the other row. An associate saw me struggling, pulled my cart over the curb and again helped me load my car! Kudos to HD for a great improvement experience. Also next time you are there notice that each area of the store has a different vibe. People doing home improvements aren't as happy as the people shopping the garden aisle!”
“I shop here frequently. I had to make a return recently that required a manager's help. I was able to work with Tavares- the store manager. He was professional, reasonable, and fair. I didn't get as much back as I hoped, but it was a very reasonable outcome based on the circumstances.”

“I delivered 5 skids of siding here today 06/19 my load shifted and I could not open my conestoga trailer as the skid was lodged against the tarp your associate Cole was great to work with while we hand bombed 2.5 skids roughly 30-40 boxes of siding in 85-90 deg F.
Just want to say thank you to Cole and highlight his great attitude even in a less than optimal situation.”
