Between our own horses and a couple we’ve brought down for friends, they’ve taken care of four horses for us now. Every single time, they’ve worked with us to get everyone scheduled together, which made a huge difference for a long haul and even helped cut down on fuel costs. That kind of thoughtfulness is rare. We make the four-hour trip specifically for Dr. Gieche, and there’s a reason for it. When you depend on performance horses day in and day out, you need someone who truly understands what it takes to get them back to work safely and efficiently. His knowledge, honesty, and care are second to none. But what really sets them apart is how they treat people. You’re not just dropping a horse off and waiting… you’re welcomed in like family. During longer procedures, his wife even put together a list of things for us to do in the area so we weren’t just sitting around all day. It’s those little things that make a long visit feel a lot shorter. They’ve even taken the time to include my homeschooled son, showing him some really neat things while we were there. That meant a lot to us. They’re thorough, fair, and genuinely care about both the horses and the people behind them. We trust them completely, and we’ll continue to make that four-hour trip anytime our horses need this level of care. Some places you find… and some places you stick with. This is one we’re sticking with.
