“Had a 2 day training course. Needed a room for 1 night. My furnace quit warming sometime in the night. I told the front desk the next morning, they said they would have it looked at.”

“It's always a roll of the dice on a roadside motel, but we rolled high in this one. The room was clean, the water pressure was excellent, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms are a touch outdated but not rundown. The room does need one small repair the bathroom doors hinges appear to have been bent causing the door to stick badly.”

““Let’s try the Affordable Inn”…it was 2:00 am driving in a blizzard and black ice. We just needed a place to rest our head for 5 hours. We were SO pleasantly surprised!! So clean!!! Obviously newly remodeled and very nice. The front desk clerk was great getting the bleary eyed travelers sorted also. Highly recommend!!”

“Great place to stay when in the Evanston area! Place was built in the 1960's, I'm guessing, and has the old throw back feel of when you'd park outside your room, which is nice as then your normal hauling stuff up three stories. The room was very clean and beds comfy as well. Amenities were the usual. Breakfast was basically the typical pre-prepared food ( powdered eggs, sausage, etc). This would be one area I'd much rather switch up and even pay for a breakfast that was freshly prepared. This is a place I'd easily recommend and plan on staying at again in my travels.”

“Met the wonderful staff Kimberly & Mike upon my arrival. We had wonderful conversation about life, the local area and food. They had such vibrant personalities and were EXTREMELY attentive and informative about Evanston, it's local eateries and general conversations. These folks are what make passing through a small town the highlight of one's trip. Thank you for a wonderful stay, thw chatting and smile. God Bless and be well, I will stay here again whwn passing through Evanston.Rooms: The room was very clean, organized, comfortable bed and secure. I like being able to be on the 1st floor and having my POV at my door in case I need to grab something from my vehicle.Safety: Small town vibes always makes me feel safe.Walkability: There are viable locations in walking distance as well as short 4 to 7 minute driveFood & drinks: Local eateries are close by and locally owned”

“Awesome little spot, they stayed in the office long enough to let us in, and we came rather late in the night. Pet friendly. If i had a critique it would be the sticky spots on the ceiling. Maybe a soda pop exploded?”
