The Prairie Inn is an absolute gem and a best little cute motel in town, known for its amazing price to quality ratio that can't be beat. Guests consistently find it to be clean, very large for a motel, and comfortable, with a super cute cabin or nostalgic 70s interior feeling. The furnishings are updated, mattresses are new and very comfortable, and the rooms have everything needed. The family-run staff are very friendly, welcoming, kind, and have a really good attitude, often going out of their way to help guests. While the building is very old and dated, which can lead to some old stains on the carpet, rust on the bathroom tile, and noise from shared walls and halls, it is generally quiet enough for heavy sleepers. Concerns about no AC are not true; the AC works great. The motel is pet friendly with a little grass run for dogs. The included breakfast is lacking, with just instant oats and wrapped bagels, but for the price it is not a big issue, especially with a good diner next door. Overall, it is a pleasant stay, definitely worth the money, and highly recommended for those seeking a clean, cheap, and comfortable place to sleep.

Very accommodating and friendly staff. Spacious, clean, and comfortable rooms. I slept really well and don’t usually sleep that well in a new place. Simple breakfast provided was nice. And oldie but a goodie.
