About Guernsey Ruts
Guernsey Ruts is a fascinating and wonderful quick stop for those interested in amazing history. It offers a short loop or easy stroll to see the deep wagon ruts eroded into the rock, tracing the footsteps of pioneers on the Oregon Trail. Lots of information signs provide history about the trail and the brave people who traveled west. It is a neat experience and a great opportunity to see history. Restrooms are available in the car park.

No fee. It's a park like situation. Very cool that these ruts are there. The placards around the park really help in explaining what you are seeing. It's hard to imagine the emigrants traveling West under such harsh conditions.
