“A few years ago, driving back to California from a summer trip we took to Mount Rushmore, driving thru Casper, WY, I decided to take a short cut thru hwy 487 to join interstate 80. I failed to get gas in Casper. Hwy 487 did not look too long on my trusty map. Wrong. Low fuel light came on. I had a two gallon emergency container with me. The two gallons got us to to Medicine Bow, barely. We were beyond lucky to make it to JB's Stop n Shop. Gas pumps were old school and octane was only 85, but we were extremeley happy. The staff was very nice. I purchased one of their t-shirts. We also stopped at the Virginian hotel and had lunch there. The person in charge even let us go up the stairs and see the rooms, which looked something from the old west. Even though it took me a few years to write this review I never forgot that JB's came to our rescue. Thank you!”
