Lakeside Lodge is a beautiful and quiet resort with very nice, huge, and comfortable rooms. The cabins are world class, well-maintained, and perfectly decorated. Guests can sit on the deck and look at the lake. The setting is beautiful, with grounds well taken care of and lots of places to explore. It is a super cool and relaxing place to spend a couple days.
The restaurant is a real find, with great food and an incredibly helpful staff. The resort is pet friendly and a great value. There is a huge amount of stuff to see within a very short drive, with great sights just a few minutes away. Communications are timely and efficient. Some guests note the front desk is not manned but a few hours a day, with only an emergency number available. Overall, it is a well worth the money and one of the nicest places to stay.
