“Our son was on a road trip and had serious problems with his car and had to layover in Riverton. Another shop said it was an alternator problem, so it was replaced with a days delay for part to arrive. On the way out of town, the original problem reoccurred. Or son stayed over another night and took the car to Extra Care Auto. John and crew were wonderful. Found problems the other mechanics missed. Fixed those problems. John gave us the most wonderful Christmas present.”

“We had a blown tire on Father’s Day, our first day of vacation, and found out our car model doesn’t have a spare. We had to leave our car behind in Riverton while we continued on to our nonrefundable lodging. (Thankfully we were traveling with friends and two other vehicles!) Les Schwab took care of the tire Monday, and they were very understanding about us leaving our vehicle there for a week until we came back through. They offered to pull it into the shop overnight for safekeeping, too. (Walmart, which was open that Sunday but didn’t have our tire in stock, said they could only keep it for 48 hours before having it towed off site.) We arranged to be able to pick our vehicle back up on the following Sunday, outside of business hours. Jason was especially patient and friendly about the entire situation. We are thankful there are still businesses out there who will assist with stressful extenuating circumstances. We were able to enjoy our vacation without upending our plans too much or worrying about the car we had to leave behind.”
“Kind and friendly folks, very affordable as well. Was driving from Colorado up to Montana and stopped in Riverton for the night. Turned my truck on the next morning and battery was overcharging with dash warning lights flashing. Called three shops before them and they’re the only that could help me out. They promptly got me back on the road for a very fair price. Good people.”

He was up front and honest about price and longevity. Had us a custom built driveline ready the next day! Installed it snd if would absolutely perfect! Highly recommend! Great price! Great service! “On August 11, 2025, they installed new rear brakes on my 1997 Ford F250. I am from PA and needed service. After getting back to PA I had the brakes checked by my local garage because they didn't seem to be working right ever since I left the Freemont Ford in Riverton. My local garage discovered that they had not been installed correctly. There were two loose springs rolling around in the drum and the self adjusting cables were not connected. The cost of the repair was over $1400. Word of caution to anyone traveling through Riverton, WY from out of state. Don't use Freemont Ford, they are not reliable.
September 29, 2025 Update to my review. Several weeks ago, I received a call from Jeremy (General Manager) about my review and he wanted to know what they could do to make it right. Since, I am now back home in PA, what we agreed upon was Fremont Ford would pay for the needed brake repairs to my truck to fix what was wrong. Today I received the check for the needed repairs. As a result, I have changed my review from one star to 5 stars for their genuine concern for their customers, even the ones out of state. Thank you Jeremy!”
