We attended the very enjoyable and informative Sip and Walk and visited the museum the next day. It’s really a fantastic place and is highly recommended!

The museum is located in the basement of the Sheriff Department building. We could look inside and see some of the displays. Unfortunately, we could not go in because it was temporarily closed due to Covid-19

About Crook County Museum District
Located in the northeast corner of Wyoming, the Crook County Museum District consists of a board of six voted-in members. The District board's main objective is to support its three Crook County museums; in Hulett (Hulett Museum & Art Gallery), Moorcroft (West Texas Trail Museum) and Sundance (Crook County Museum & Art Gallery). The Crook County Museum District board also oversees the operations of the historic, Old Stoney Business & Cultural center building, which houses the District Office, rentable office and conference room space, and the Crook County Museum & Art Gallery.
