Tire Dealers in Whitehorse, YT

“We got a flat tire on our way from Tuktoyaktuk to Inuvik, and unfortunately, the tire was too badly damaged to be repaired. Since we couldn’t find the right replacement locally, we had to order a new tire from Whitehorse and have it shipped to Inuvik by air cargo.

I called several tire shops in Whitehorse, and Fountain Tire was by far the most helpful. They made the whole process incredibly easy—I was able to purchase the tire over the phone, and Air North Cargo picked it up from the store only about an hour later for the flight to Inuvik. Their help really saved us during our trip.

After making it safely back to Whitehorse, I decided to purchase three more matching tires from Fountain Tire and have all four installed. Once again, the staff were amazing and the service was professional and efficient. They even provided me with a vehicle condition report after the installation, which was a nice extra touch.

Excellent customer service from start to finish. I highly recommend Fountain Tire to anyone in Whitehorse who needs tire service, especially if you’re traveling through the North and need a shop you can rely on.”
