Waggin Tails Pet Supplies
386 State St, Los AltosI love Waggin Tails! The experience here definitely made my dogs tail wag for his birthday.I called the morning before my puppy's first birthday inquiring on a cake or dog birthday treats, and I came in after work and the delivery of cakes came in- perfect timing. The lady who helped me greeted me immediately and asked if I needed any help. I told her I was shopping for my dog's birthday and she remembered me from the phone. She was super friendly and let me browse through all the cakes till i found what I wanted. I then took a browse throughout the store for gifts. The store is small, but organized. Upon checking out, she mentioned that she would put together a birthday bag for my dog, and the gentleman working there put it together. I was stunned with all the goodies they gave me. Toys and treats to add to my puppy's birthday, as well as a coupon for future purchases. My pup will be so happy, and they made me happy that I could give so much for my puppy's first birthday.DEFINITELY recommend coming here. The staff are helpful and kind.

Pet Care
Los Altos Veterinary Clinic
1150 Riverside Dr, Los AltosTime for me to write another review. This clinic is wonderful! Everyone there is so smart, so friendly, and so kind! They've been especially patient with me the past few weeks while I had two dogs with emergency situations in rapid succession. One kidney failure and one broken toe. Bad luck & bad timing for me, and I have placed a lot of desperate calls to the clinic. Each time I am met with a considerate and helpful response. And their kindness is matched by knowledge & skill. THANK YOU LOS ALTOS VET! - Love, Meechi & Baxter

Estrellita Mexican Bistro
971 N San Antonio Rd, Los AltosThis is the second time we've dined here. I had a watermelon margarita that was perfect and delicious. All three diners in our party were happy with all our dishes. I had a combination plate that had a chicken enchilada with green sauce, beef enchilada and rice and beans. The flavors were fantastic! The enchilada had lots of very tender chicken. The beans were incredible; a mix of tender whole beans simmered with some mashed beans, topped with cotija. We will definitely visit again when we are back in the area.

Sweet Diplomacy® Gluten-Free
209 1st St, Los AltosWas trying to find a gluten free bakery that would make an angel food cake for me and they were generous enough to offer even though it’s not a usual! Beyond grateful for them for being able to do this for me as my partner has not been able to eat this for about 8 years so it made her birthday even more special! Satura Cakes
200 Main St, Los AltosPhenomenal Japanese style pastries - lighter and not as sweet as American versions. They are expensive, but well worth it.

Urfa Bistro
233 State St, Los AltosVery tasty Mediterranean dishes, definitely save room for the dessert Kunefe and Turkish coffee. I was amazed to hear that Branzino Mediterranean seabass comes fresh daily from Turkey. Great service and atmosphere overall, 100% recommend!

Tre Monti
270 Main St, Los AltosIt's challenging in California to find a pizza that reminds me of NYC, here they make a delicious pie with "color"! NO BLONDE CALIFORNIA PIZZA!!! The grilled octopus appetizer was delightful, tasty good size on top of arugula...WELL DONE.Tiramisu is delicious. They also have a very nice, albeit small wine selection. We'll be back!!

The Courtyard Long Bar & Bistro
4320 El Camino Real, Los AltosThe food was good and there was free parking downstairs. The layout was a little confusing cause there were multiple areas to sit but the Brussels sprouts were good

ASA Restaurant - Los Altos
242 State St, Los AltosVery impressive cooking. Thoughtful, interesting recipes. Desserts not overly sweet, a rarity in these parts. Perfect portion sizes: a meal of an appetizer, main course, and dessert is quite substantial but not humanly impossible to consume. We ordered: Halibut special appetizer - like ceviche but in tomato juice, loved it. Had no idea tomato has enough acid to cook the fish. Did not taste like there was lemon or lime in it but who knows. Burrata - not what we are used to getting as burrata, rather a ricotta filling in a mozzarella shell, unexpected and really great Agrentinian steak: steak absolutely perfect; straightforward sides executed well. Duck main course: meat also perfect, very interesting sides (baby leek and artichoke heart). Basque cheesecake: I wish I could steal their recipe. I make a good cheesecake but theirs is lighter. I am jealous :) Panna Cotta: NOT TOO SWEET THANK YOU SO MUCH Please for heaven's sake get rid of dessert jars. They are just... not a great idea. I had a stronger word there but decided to be a good girl and exercise restraint!
