Peninsula Pet Hospital: Cortesi Charles DVM
548 Glenwood Ave, Menlo ParkMe and my dog Blue love going to this vet. Every time we go there they are so happy to see Blue and welcome him by name. 3735 Haven Ave, Menlo ParkMy dog has gone to Tyson's since he was a puppy. He loves running around with all the other dogs. They are great with him and he always comes back home tired. The staff is awesome, happy to switch to overnight stay if we need last minute and even help with diet restrictions when it comes to treats. They are all very friendly and love the pets that come to visit for the day or stay for boarding.

Pet-Friendly Restaurants
Woodside Vineyards
380 Industrial Rd, San CarlosGreat spot! There's awesome steak sandwiches and salmon sandwiches that I've really enjoyed. You can do wine tasting here as well as get wine by the glass or bottles. They are very dog friendly, you can bring your dog inside and outdoors. Awesome place to go with family, it's baby friendly too. There are exotic cars parked inside that car enthusiasts can check out. The staff running the food is extremely friendly and welcoming.

Cafe Zoe & Neighborhood Pizza Guy
1929 Menalto Ave, Menlo ParkI came on a Monday 12:30 lunch time - this is a favorite local spot for a quick bite and catch up. The food and espresso are above average. I ordered pesto chicken foccasia panini with 8oz flat white espresso. Rosemary infused Focassia was soft on the inside and beautifully crusted on the outside with evo. Pesto tasted fresh and homemade. Mozzarella, chicken breast and tomato slices were evenly thin to create a perfect sandwich. Espresso was on point!Cafe is marketed as a place for peace, hope and community and the vibe accurately matches claim. Employees are genuinely happy to serve. Owner Matt is a pleasant, talented baker and invested in building the community by providing a creative space. Wall art supports local artists and handpicked to create an experience.Overall, a must stop over if you’re visiting in Palo Alto or Menlo Park area.

Oak + Violet
1400 El Camino Real, Menlo ParkGood food and service overall but a few hiccups for our dinner there: only an outdoor table available (but after asking if any table would become available we got one indoor in 5 min), good-but-loud live music, and no heads up what what we ordered wasn't available anymore.

Counter Point
4200 Bohannon Dr Suite 120, Menlo ParkDelicious breakfast, lunch, gourmet coffee & tea - beautifully presented in a new cafe. I'll add pictures soon! Take Marsh Rd Menlo Park off 101, left onto Bohannon - you'll know you are there when you see an office park with lots of palm trees. Great place!

SAJJ Mediterranean (Menlo Park)
883 Hamilton Ave, Menlo ParkWe came to SAJJ with a small group of coworkers, and it was fast, friendly, and tasty. I had a shawafel rice bowl (shawarma and falafel) and all of the toppings I had them put on were great. I also liked the mint lemonade! I'd be happy to come back for a quick meal some time.

Guapa's Mexican Grill
515 El Camino Real suite 110, Menlo ParkWent for Lunch Food - 4/5. The crunch wrap was folded well to make every item form into layers. Rice was fluffy and seasoned well, the beans were creamy, and the carne asada was pretty tender. The tortilla in the center added some crunch, but only for the few bites it covered. Service - 4/5. Friendly and quick service. Line moved fast without feeling rushed. Value - 4/5. Every item is $15 which is on the expensive side for fast casual. Food and portions were fine but the higher price point without any options for a smaller item gives me some hesitancy about returning. Parking - Mall Lot (Free)

Camper
898 Santa Cruz Ave, Menlo ParkDelicious food but maybe not worth the price. Our appetizers came super fast but the main course took a long time and we ordered the seared halibut which isn't a dish that should take a long time. The fried flowered cauliflower was amazing, great acidity in the sauce. The kanpachi was also incredibly delicious, again amazing because of a wonderfully acidic sauce. The halibut was cooked perfectly, the peas were so fresh and felt like popping boba, and the sauce was acidic again. I'm a huge fan of the acidic sauces and did not get tired of it, but that's something to be wary of if you're not a fan.

Mama Coco Cocina Mexicana
1081 El Camino Real, Menlo Park80% flavor ???? the other 20% feels too commercial. It's like when you take the first bite is great but as you continue eating, you start thinking...hmmm they could have seasoned this a little more (key in mexican food is sazonar)Some dishes lack execution. Huaraches need more time on the grill.I understand meats & chorizos are important but I think Mexican restaurants rely too much on the meats for most of the flavor.Leaves the vegetarian dishes lacking ingredients that could elevate a simple dish like a huarache. For example grilled mushrooms.Salsas are very well done though.Mole is very diluted but their chipotle sauce is really good. Just less salt and more chipotles. But the decor of the restaurant is very homey and inviting.Vegetarian options: You can ask to have your selection be made vegetarian but almost no options for vegana.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free as long as you don't have the churros, flour tortilla and cakes. But moles will have nuts/peanuts.
