335551053 is my rental agreement number. My experience with the vehicle wasn't bad but my experience with the AVIS at this airport was. I was told numerous times there were no vehicles available in person just for me to get online and book one they have available. Returning the vehicle went great but after a few days, I was charged for gas and on my receipt it said that it was completely on Empty when ik it was full because I filled up the tank before Bringing it in and have the fuel receipt to prove it as well as the transaction through my bank. They charged me nearly $6 a gallon to fill up a 15.8 gallon tank that was still full. I've been trying to reach out to get this resolved but I'm met with this line isn't available.

Great service and staff Visaliiy and Halima, in particular, are always very helpful and friendly. Prompt service, cars that are always immaculate, and high standards of vehicles—I couldn't recommend them highly enough.

The car:Car hadn't been cleaned well at all - there was some white stuff (Wax? Lotion? Idk?) on several seats, a pack of cigars under the passenger seat, the inside of the windshield and other windows were hazy. The radio stopped working on the way back home.The pickup process:The location I rented from told me they didn't have a car to give me when I showed up at my reserved time but they had some on the way. I went to wait until the time they said they had some, which was two hours after my scheduled pick up time. Three and a half hours, two phone calls, and several insults from the "branch manager" (he also told me it was my fault I couldn't pick up a car because I didn't book it a month in advance and that it was "below his pay grade" to transport cars) later I finally got them to transfer my rental pickup to the airport another 30 minutes farther away. I was assured the price would be adjusted so I didn't pay more but that never happened and I was charged an additional $14 a day plus an airport tax.Returning the car:I asked for a printed copy of my bill when I dropped the car off a few minutes early and was told they didn't have a printer. It took three days to receive an email with a copy of the final bill. I immediately emailed customer support regarding the bill being almost $80 higher than expected. I have been told they are refunding the different but haven't seen anything arrive onto my account as of three days later.Bottom line:The next rental need I have has about a 1 percent chance of being with Avis. If I could rate zero stars, I would.

They gave me a free upgrade without me even asking. I had issues with another car rental place, and the staff at Avis saved the day. Very nice and helpful staff.

The car I received at Birmingham, AL airport was clearly used by someone who smoked, and the smell in it was nauseating. In addition, one of the tires was extremely low and the tire alert light was on when I got in the car. Finally, the car was completely out of washer fluid. This is not what I expect when I pick up a rental car at an airport for use over several days.

Terrible pick-up and drop-off experience. I use Avis 1-2 times each month for business travel and wow this embarrassing. Staff do not care at all about your experience, vehicle was trash, literally super dirty, a ton of water in one of the doors that sloshed around the duration of my rental and as I was dropping off my vehicle the attendant literally yelled at me. I had my window down as I pulled up, she was yelling at me to pull forward even though that is literally what I was doing - a spot opened up in the front and it was a tight squeeze so i decided to back in so the next person to pull that car out would have an easier time and as I pulled forward she yelled at me a third time and said "are you serious, can you not see this spot open? What is wrong with you?" I literally was just backing the vehicle in and after she saw that, she tried to act nice, like nothing had happened. Whole experience was embarrassing and I am embarrassed for Avis to have staff/quality of service/vehicles that represent them in that fashion.

reservation number 38347336FR6Hello, I went to Avis on Saturday 02/10/2024 at 10:00 a.m. it was a very unpleasant experience, compared to an Avis employee.I'm bringing a car back at the end of the contract, to get another oneI say hello, no answer, she tells me what do you want, I give her the contract number to collect the car she asks me for my driving license and my credit card, I give her my license , then I ask her why my credit card, my company rents the cars in Full Credit and they have never asked me for my credit card in Full Credit, I would like to point out that it This is the third car I have taken since the beginning of the year from Avis at Birmingham airport and they have never asked me for my credit card. This person ask me my credit card again without explanation, I asked him again for why do you need my credit card? at this moment she throws the car key to her colleague, I mean THROW, and tells him I don't take care of that one.I have been working all over the world for over thirty years. I have never met such an UNPLEASANT and UNPOLITE person at Avis.I have to stay until July in the United States so change cars every month, I think it is better to change rental company, I would also like to point out that the young man who then took care of me Was very friendly and very professional. and he didn't ask me for my credit carte

Rented a car due to being out of town and was visiting a friend. The process was simple and picking up was a breeze.

The staff was nice but the car was filthy on the inside, with trash and crumbs all over the backseat and a half-drunk bottle of apple juice. I’ll probably rent from Hertz next time.
