About Avis Car Rental
Avis Car Rental at Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport offers an efficient and friendly service for pick up and drop off. The staff is consistently described as nice, helpful, and friendly, with some going above and beyond to assist customers. Many vehicles are clean and well-maintained, though some reviews note cars can occasionally be dirty on the inside or need exterior work. The location provides a selection of affordable vehicles, including SUVs and economy cars, suitable for various travel plans. However, some customers report multiple unexpected fees and charges. The pick-up spot can be hard to find initially. A notable limitation is the lack of a select car option, with renters receiving whatever vehicle is available. There is also a requirement for a deposit on a major credit card. Despite these drawbacks, many customers report positive experiences and state they will rent from Avis again.

I had an excellent experience. Deon was very helpful. He even helped me troubleshoot an issue I had when I initially booked online. He was very warm and courteous. I was in and out in no time.
