The UAB Bookstore is a clean and spacious store located right in front of the recreation center, making it easy to find. It is well organized, light, and colorful, offering a good selection of UAB merch and a tribute to the Dragons. The store sells university-related souvenirs such as clothes, hoodies, T-shirts, cups, and tumblers. There are also some games for students. However, some reviews note it is outrageously overpriced. While it carries textbooks, the stockroom can feel poorly organized, as employees sometimes have to search for items. The staff is described as super helpful, very accommodating, and nice when assisting with finding or ordering books. The merchandise selection is focused on the university, with items like postcards only featuring campus buildings and no postcards about the city of Birmingham.
This is the place for everything UAB. The bookstore has all of the UAB swag that you could ask for. There are bargains to be found if you look for sales and closeouts.

Clean with good UAB merch, but outrageously overpriced. Also when I went to get my textbook, the employee had to search for it around the stockroom because it was just floating in the area. It felt very poorly organized and that was frustrating.
