“I had the pleasure of volunteering here for a few hours . The event coordinator was extremely professional and very welcoming! In preparation for their annual Christmas parade , I was able to help out with some of the last minute work that needed to be done for that . Also, I assisted with some mail outs that were being sent out to Chamber members. I really enjoyed my time volunteering at CPACC and look forward to volunteering again in the future!”

“My Kiwanis Club (The Kiwanis Club of Vulcan) joined our Key Club from Jackson Olin here on yesterday to do some community service. We helped Bundles of Hope Diaper Bank prep diaper packages for families in need in the Birmingham area. They are very organized so we were able to easily learn what we needed to do to be able to jump in and help. We will definitely go back to volunteer our time. The warehouse is kind of cold during these cooler months so be sure to dress warmly if you volunteer during a colder season.”

“Girl's Inc of Central Alabama is ran and funded by phenomenal people, staff, volunteers, board members and leadership alike. Jalencia and Rauslyn are wonderful, and so is the rest of the staff, especially the summer programming. It's worth every penny, and they offer scholarships for folks who need help paying. They offer holistic and supplemental curriculum to program participants, such as strategies for coping with emotional stress, learning to code, intro to entrepreneurship, and leadership skills development. Girl's Inc of Central Alabama is one of Alabama's best assets. Thank you for all you do, and for the love you pour into your work.”

“The Y in every city offer the best classes when people are at work yet charge upwards of 60.00 a month for membership. I have asked repeatedly in the past y the y caters to stay at home moms with the class schedules. No real answer but I do notice that during the day most of the gyms are populated with stay at home moms. Must be nice to be able to stay at home everyday and go to the gym while the working folks pay high monthly rates and have to take leave from work to go to a Y class.”

THEY ARE THE BEST!!!!!!!!!Each and every member of the team at COA who worked as a part of our daughters' care team from the moment we walked through the doors of the facility until her treatment was throughly completed. ALL gave 110%, and they were compassionate! They made sure she felt a blanketing sense of comfort and an at home kind of welcoming! We're so glad to have chosen COA as her place of treatment because they went above and beyond in any and all ways necessary. I guess it was most shocking to our family as this is/was something we've never received before from hospitals, doctors care,.pediatricians.office or other HealthCare facility.l, PERIOD.
