“The folks at Manufactured Good are fantastic. I’ve ordered three custom tables from them and they are all beautiful and well built, substantial pieces of furniture. Two stand up desks and one conference table. On my first table we miscommunicated on the height of the table and the fixed it at no charge. These are lifetime works of art. I highly recommend them.”
“The coolest place in the Birmingham to see all types of local & nonlocal music talent! My son's band, HIRAETH, has played there several times now & the management there is top notch to say the very least! I highly recommend it to any & every one who loves music! Every time I've been, admission is just $10 & at least 4 bands/artists perform every time. You absolutely cannot beat that & you definitely get SO MUCH more than your money's worth! It's a community arts center during the day that helps to support local artists. At night, after they close, which I think is between 5pm & 7pm, is when they open for live, scheduled performances. What they do there for local, up & coming artists is such a WONDERFUL thing! It is such a beautiful thing to see everyone, all types of people, come together and support each other there! I meet so many wonderful, new people every time I go! It's a SUPER blessing for sure! If you want to see how music really does break all barriers & brings all people together no matter their differences and if you want to experience the true love, care & support that comes with the precious gift of music, I HIGHLY recommend that you go watch a show at The Firehouse!”
“It's wonderful they teach you a whole lot about garden an the soil what too plant an when i love the people an what they do for the community.May God continue blessing all of you?”

“I had the pleasure of volunteering here for a few hours . The event coordinator was extremely professional and very welcoming! In preparation for their annual Christmas parade , I was able to help out with some of the last minute work that needed to be done for that . Also, I assisted with some mail outs that were being sent out to Chamber members. I really enjoyed my time volunteering at CPACC and look forward to volunteering again in the future!”
“It was great! I was worried when I didn’t come to Sunday School, Ms Amy’d think Jackson had kicked me. I was worried Ms Stephanie would even go far as to ground the kids”
“Ive been a member of YMCA from Texas to Tennessee. When I was. kid I took every level of swimming lessons. As a college kid I worked in the afterschool program to supplement my education. When I was training for the Ironman Triathlon, I spent many rainy days in the cardio section. All that to say, I know a well managed YMCA when I see one. Greystone YMCA is outstanding. The equipment is up to date and clean. The pool is safe and fun with friendly life guards. When I had to have knee surgery and did not check in to the Y for a few weeks, coach Ruby called to check on me. That phone call really encouraged me during my rehab. Greystone YMCA is the best location I have ever been a member. If you are considering a membership , I say go for it! You will feel better even if all you ever do is go in and walk the indoor track. Who knows, you might get motivated to join an activity class or play tennis or basketball. This could be your year to get healthy. I hope this review conveys my positive endorsement. Givon Wayne”
“I'm receiving Meals on Wheels and the volunteers that deliver those meals are always so polite and nice I wish there were more people in the world like them”
“The Y in every city offer the best classes when people are at work yet charge upwards of 60.00 a month for membership. I have asked repeatedly in the past y the y caters to stay at home moms with the class schedules. No real answer but I do notice that during the day most of the gyms are populated with stay at home moms. Must be nice to be able to stay at home everyday and go to the gym while the working folks pay high monthly rates and have to take leave from work to go to a Y class.”
“My girls attended the summer camp in Pelham and enjoyed it overall. There was a lot of activities and they were ok. However there was no real teaching of girl empowerment as I thought it would be. The price of the camp and location was good though.”
“Phil and his staff are caring, compassionate and so efficient and organized. Every recipient is treated compassionately and with the utmost care as if they were Phil’s and everyone else’s very own family member. Not only are they treated respectfully, but so are the donors’ items which ate beautifully cared for and displayed in an orderly fashion so that the recipients can go down the aisles and “shop” to fill their homes with their much needed goods then, lovingly wrapped and packaged for delivery. This organization has helped and is helping so many people and so many families. Not one item is wasted or unneeded, and there is love in every step of the process by every person involved.”

“My wife and I went here yesterday for a Sexual and Gender Minority research workshop. We had never been in this building and were so impressed with the design and the interiors decoration. Also the facilities were very impressive, sound-proof call boxes, a snack station with virtual checkout, all-gender bathroom, hospitality staff, and a Crestwood bagel company location! 10/10 I would go to another event here.”
“United Ability held a celebration of life for my sister, Kimberly Williams, who attended UA for many, many years. Kim loved UA, and they loved her.
They did such a wonderful job of commemorating her, and I thank them for putting together such a nice service for Kim. She was greatly loved; it was so obvious.
Kim talked about Jercolbie all the time, and I finally got to meet him and so many of her friends. He song two songs for her, and they were filled with so much emotion.
Days later, I'm still thinking about the celebration and remembering the warmth I felt by everyone. Jill Smith was an amazing friend to and advocate for her; she went above and beyond what he role with UA entails. Mary Roth was so kind and fun, and I know Kim just had the greatest time there.
It really meant a lot to see my sister so fondly remembered. They never treated her just another attendee; she meant a lot to them and vice versa.”
“I love coming here. I find some good stuff. I've visited bins literally all across the country (Portland, Tulsa, Vegas, Albuquerque), and the vultures were so bad, that the employees literally have to scream at customers when to stop and go when they bring fresh bins out, and then it's literally ALL trash lol.”

“This park is perfect for young children playing baseball. But it could use a little updating. It still seems like a comfort zone with many young people/ children. Let's keep it that way because there's not many safe places to go and watch a good baseball game!”

“Me and 4 other girls try to do something monthly for this group. They have always been very appreciative! The guys I've met are very nice and helpful. Our Dads served in WWII and we were blessed to have them come home and feel we are honoring them in helping Three Hots and a Cot!”
