Courtyard Birmingham Trussville offers a mix of experiences for its guests. The staff is frequently praised for their friendly service and southern hospitality, making guests feel welcome throughout their stay. However, the hotel shows signs of wear, with some rooms being described as dated. While the cleanliness is generally acceptable, several reviews mention issues such as stained carpets, drainage problems in sinks and tubs, and a pool with maintenance concerns, including bugs and low water levels. Additionally, there is no complimentary breakfast available, which some guests found disappointing. Despite these concerns, the hotel's location is convenient, and the comfortable beds, nice bar, and relaxing pool area contribute positively to the overall experience. Guests appreciate the efforts of the housekeeping staff, especially during busy times, although some issues with maintenance have been noted. Overall, the Courtyard Birmingham Trussville offers a friendly atmosphere, though it may benefit from some updates and repairs.
Rooms were not super clean and shower tiles were cracked. AC was loud and sounded like it was going out. They desk agent was reluctant to provide a bottle of water, despite my silver elite status. They were all fairly minor things, but not things I'm used to at a Marriott.

This was my family’s second stay. Staff overall friendly. My concern with this stay was the tub in the bathroom . It seems it was not cleaned! Since it was just for a night we made work. Glad to own shower shoes.
