Someone driving a Hertz truck pulled into my driveway and crashed into my garage. I have the security camera footage and the police report, but Hertz is asking me for the VIN number of the truck. It was a hit and run, so how would I be able to obtain the VIN number? This company is not helping with this issue at all.

Reserved a car 1 week prior to my trip.They called only 2 hours prior to my pick up time to tell me they did not have that car available.They offered me a different car at a higher rate. I did not accept the offer and they proceeded to charge me $55 for a "no show" feeI would not recommend using this company

All Hertz customer service is through an over seas company that will and can not give you a solution to any problem. Please don't ask to speak to a manager. They literally will just put you on mute or tell you to call back or tell you they will call back. All they want from you is a card number.

Horrible - vehicles were listed as available and after I walked across birmingham to the hertz after getting a tow - I was told that they did not have vehicles for anyone who booked day of. Multiple other people were being turned away, and 2 people came in saying that their rental cars had service issues or were very dirty.

I don’t understand why they allow you to book a vehicle on the app and not have said vehicle available. I went as far as booking the vehicle calling before leaving the house to confirm said vehicles availability. Was told yes it’s there and available. Literally 10 minutes later I arrive to a lobby full of people mad because they too couldn’t get the car they booked and then being told they haven’t had any available cars for weeks. When asked why I was told it was there 10 minutes prior they just chuckled and said”who knows” but the entire time I was in there the staff received several calls where they told individuals they had cars available. When leaving I was told by another person that unless your friends with someone in the office you’ll never get a Uber rental. Lastly it might be a good idea to retrain the team on the company’s dress code. Especially the part to tuck your shirt in so customers dont have to see your belly and tidy whites hanging out over your belt and not walking around eating spilling food on yourself.

I’m really disappointed today. Every month I book the rentals and they never ask for or to take the insurance if the American Express is going pay. But today I’m really disappointed and fed up since morning. All other locations accept the Amex insurance but today they didn't accept the insurance by Amex as it is a third party. But every month I pay monthly rentals but this never happened like it happened today.

I recently had an unfortunate experience with this location that was disappointing to say the least. Despite explicitly stating that I did not require insurance coverage, the person at the counter forcefully added it to my rental agreement. When I brought this to their attention, instead of rectifying the mistake, the staff member suggested that I should call the center to reverse the charge because they had already printed my receipt!! You should consider yourself lucky if you can get through to the call center in under an hourAnyway, this branch has the potential to be highly convenient due to its location. However, regrettably, it is manned by what I can only describe as the least attentive staff. Sad

I've given them a rating of zero stars and will be taking action with the BBB. I've been renting with them as an Uber driver since last year and they have been garbage from the start.I first rented a Tesla. It was not there when they stated it would be. I waited a week for it to come in and it wasn't there then. I was forced to take a Chevy EUV which they charged me the Tesla price for. Which then died on the charger at Bucees. Which cost me more money to tow to them. Which was never reimbursed. I had that vehicle for three days before that happened. When that occurred I got stuck in a Chevy Equinox because it was all they had. Again for the Tesla price. Thus started another rental agreement. I didn't get my security deposit back ever. They even charged me for an extra week. From the EUV which they said they would rectify and haven't. I still have the invoice and will bring that as evidence against them as well. Those were the initial first issues with them. But as who I am I didn't complain and kept on Ubering because I thoroughly enjoy it. Then last month my weekly recurring payment didn't go through for some reason. I didn't notice because I work alottt.I was called and went straight in to take care it. Paid it in full and they started the recurring payments again. Low and behold though. It happened again. The last time in their records it showed me delinquent a total obscene amount. They took my money last month paid me up till the eight of February. Didn't take anymore out supposedly until Valentines day morning at 1 am ish. That was a Wednesday and my drafts come out on Thursdays or Fridays. The transaction they last see is for the rental that ended on the eight. Which I remind you I'm on a weekly recurring rental with them. The Valentines charge wasnt even in there system!!! My rent rate was at 260. I only supposed to be behind Two weeks. That's 520 plus tax. When it got delinquent this time I recieved no call. Which if there was an issue I would receive the call. Well come to find out the person who handles the Uber accounts because they are gonna try to blame her was so overwhelmed the last time I spoke to her face to face. She forgot to update my new number. They repoed the vehicle this morning and are trying to charge me for five weeks of delinquency. Negative not going for it. They also stuck a 535.00 Overdue admin Fee on top of what was owed. Therefore making a 520 withdrawal error issue a whopping 1931.17 extortion issue. Taking into account there behavior with how they handled the first issue with the EUV now this... that's clear bad business practices. When I called to talk to someone usually no one answers.I got the DM today and he gave me the old it's a billing concern issue. Then when you talk to billing it's a employee issue... It's a spin cycle of rinse and repeat. I finally was able to meet someone who attempted to help but with all the red tape and inability to operate properly when dealing with Uber issues nothing could be settled. I have posted this Zero star review because I am a patient hard working man. I will not stand for this lying down. I humbly advise all consumers don't rent with these people they are ill equipped to deal with anything with grace and honest understanding.If I recieved a call I would have been there to pay it. The crazy part is them trying to overcharge me for 5 rentals and charge me on Valentines day and not have it in there records... its in mine so I have the withdrawal proof.Somones definitely doing something shady or they're terrible at they're job. I've included the receipts. They even want to recharge me for what I paid for!!! Lunacy.In closing I urge you not to rent with them if you can absolutely help it!!! I really wish I could rate them zero stars. -1.Any advice on what should be done in how I should handle this is welcome.

I understand that they don't have any cars available, but it is unprofessional for them to not call or give a heads up after arriving. They also have the audacity to be condescending about it. If I had the option, I would give this place a negative star rating without hesitation...
