Star was amazing! She stayed open late so I could get my car after my flight came in late. She was also so friendly and helpful her sense of humor was much appreciated after an exhausting day of travel and delays

Worst company I’ve ever delt with. Reserved a car a week ahead of time for 9am and when I arrived no cars were available, I got put on a waiting list and told I would have to wait until around 2 most likely, and even then didn’t guarantee a car. Was on a business trip so ended up being late had to go to another company to get a car. Reservations don’t mean a thing with this company you just have to be lucky and hope they have a car available. Then when I asked for a refund they told me I would have to call the corporate number and wait for 30 minutes to maybe talk to someone for the refund. I wasn’t the only mad customer there either.

CHECK YOUR RECEIPT ASAP! It's ridiculous that after ensuring I fill up the rental with gas before returning it, Hertz still checks it in as empty. This has happened twice now, and luckily, I caught it before leaving the airport this time. When I questioned the staff, I was told they can't make changes even if the vehicle is clearly full. It's unacceptable that Hertz hires people just to scan cars without fixing errors or updating fuel levels. I'm reaching out to management about this because it's outrageous. If I hadn't confronted them, I'd be stuck dealing with Hertz for the next week. This issue needs to be addressed and staff properly trained.

Out of cars. Said it would be 30 minutes. 75 minutes later, still no cars. Several were checked in while we were standing outside in the cold. They were taken away and not showing back up in a timely manner. 5 hertz employees walking around. Maybe they should teach them to wash cars when there are 15-20 people waiting.

Reserved a small SUV for $62 per day, was allocated a Tesla I couldn't drive and over-charged me $85 for a doge charger; I didn't want! Why bill me a for a vehicle they didn't reserve or honor my reservation? I would recommend renting somewhere else that won't try to capitalize on your reservation.

Worst Hertz experience I’ve had so far! Most likely my last time renting with them.Renting the car took forever even tho I had a reservation set for weeks and I’ve rented from them before multiple times no help from the customer service in front of me they wanted me to call hertz at their phone numberGave me a car that had dents and scratches all over the car, one tire was loosing tire pressure daily and had to visit a tire shop dailyOverinflated Tires 51 psi is way too much for a standard carLeft the airport and 1min in the fuel gauge went from full to 3/4Safety is not their number 1 rule, they don’t careOnly intended to have a car for 3 days and use it under 100 miles for the whole trip. easy money for them, made it into a very bad experience. Never again

Starla at the BHM Airport is AMAZING!!! She's helped me and my family on numerous occasions. She's made sure that we have everything we need every time we visit. She is extremely kind and professional. The last two times we were there our flights were delayed, but she stayed. Even when the location was experiencing computer issues and stayed well past closing. Our most recent visit, our flight was delayed and we didn't arrive until 0100. There she was, still as sweet as ever, and ready to help. We appreciate her so much!! She's the best of the best and immensely knowledgeable! She's a pro 100%, 10/10! Thank you, Starla!! We'll see you next time.

Two days before Christmas, I was expecting a long wait, a complicated return process, and workers too tired to be polite. Well, if Star was tired, she never let on. I was met with a cheerful smile and lighting fast service. Whoever hired this woman should know that she is an asset to the team and deserves a raise! I am BEYOND impressed!

Picked up a truck in Houston and dropped off at this location. No one walked around the truck in Houston to check for any damage so I did that once I was out of the parking deck. Truck had damage to the door and a cracked windshield. Truck also smelled like someone had smoked in it for the last 3 months. Thankfully I took pictures which I showed to the attendant at this location during drop-off. She said that's fine thanks for letting them know. That's that right? Nope two months later I get a damage claim requesting I pay 962 dollars for a windshield that cost them 553. Attached was a form stating that someone named J. Young called two days after I dropped off which was a blatant lie. After providing the pictures I took there was no apology just a reply that the claim was closed. The least someone could do would be apologize but apparently that is to much to ask.TAKE PICTURES OF EVERYTHING OR THEY WILL LIE TO GET YOU TO PAY.

This location is scam, i booked car from my employer discount, but they failed to apply the codes and charge me 100 dollar extra. Customer care is saying its as per original price witgbut the counter lady not able to get the exact rate. They are playing table tenis saying its not our mistake.I spent 2 hour on the reservation i already booked.Pathetic experience will never ever book hertZ
