I did not have a very good initial service for the money I paid to have hoses replaced, but Iām giving 4 stars because the store Manager, Jenn was very polite and very empathetic when she heard that the repair was not done correctly. They did fix it and she was very apologetic and handled the situation appropriately.

I have not purchased tires from them but have had trailer tires installed. The service is good and friendly staff. I will return to this Pep Boys location in the future.

DO NOT GO HERE! Tried to trick my brother into buying 4 new tires that would take several days to get there. He legit only needed a patch on a single tire. Told him the hole was too big. Discount Tire laughed and patched it in 20 minutes free of charge. Go here to waste money and get scammed!

I actually have comparison for Birmingham Pep Boys... If you have any care for customer service, price, truth tellers and for locations that honor their own Pep Boys warranty, PLEASE do yourself a huge favor and use this location! After calling the Homewood location (because it's closer to me) for a battery that was struggling to crank less than 5 months of purchase, the horrible assistant manager at Homewood, who had absolutely NO idea of how to access her own computer when presented with a work order, phone number, name, address, and all pertinent info to honor their 3 year warranty, I had the pleasure of calling THIS location on Montclair Rd. I was taken care of IMMEDIATELY!!! Brian was absolutely wonderful! Talk about taking care of his customer right away. He also kept his word in the estimated wait time. I would have like for it to be sooner but he said under an hour, and that is what it was. What great employees here! He assigned my car to D'Angelo. He was amazing too. Explaining and answering my questions... Just terrific! I already have a low trust level for mechanics so this location has restored my faith that there are some great people out here! Thanks gentlemen!!
