SHOPPE is a charming, privately owned nursery and gift shop, considered a hidden gem and a must-visit spot in Birmingham. Located next to other local businesses, it features a beautiful, phenomenal greenhouse that can be rented for special occasions and a very cool outside area. The atmosphere is incredible, friendly, and warm, with an explosion of beautiful aromas in the greenhouse. The staff is kind, accommodating, and attentive. The shop offers a great and lovely array of plant-themed items. This includes a great selection of plants, succulents, cacti, bulbs, baskets, pots, seeds, seasonal decor, candles, and gift items. It also houses an intriguing selection of books on local history. As an alternative to big box centers, its prices are reasonable. The service is warm, with staff offering beautiful wrapping for purchases. It is a joy to visit, providing a very much worth-it experience for anyone, whether a plant lover or not.
We made a trip from Mississippi to visit Shoppe today and it was well worth the drive! Great selection with great service from Mark, Christian & Terry. We ate lunch at General next door which was perfect. We will be back soon!

Reserved the greenhouse for my proposal to my girlfriend, the staff was incredible and kind and accommodating. I’ve purchased a plant before here too and we still have it in our home! Love the atmosphere and people
