Absolutely the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. From the moment I walked in, I was treated like I was a problem just for needing help. The staff was extremely rude, dismissive, and clearly didn’t want to assist with what should’ve been a simple shipping request. I left feeling like I had done something wrong just for being there. I won’t be back, and I don’t recommend anyone waste their time here.

Just went in to this USPS and arrived at 4:50. There were others there as well and people arriving after me. It clearly says EVERYWHERE (website, door sign, etc) that USPS closes at 5. They locked the doors at 4:50 and refused to help anyone. THE DAY BEFORE TAX DAY!!!!! Keep in mind the employees were still there, they just didn’t want to help. Do better USPS.

Pay for a PO Box here. They continually hold my packages behind the counter and don’t put them in my box. I’m paying extra for a larger box but they continue to do this even with the smallest parcels. Why did I pay extra for more space? Unbelievably inconvenient for those of us who work.

I’m new to town so I found that this post office location is closest to my home. Unfortunately, immediately upon walking in, there was a sign that said the system was down. I wasn’t sure what all that entailed so I walked in to ask a question and the lady behind the counter, while speaking with an elderly woman at the counter, glanced over at me and said “you can drop them over there” with a hateful look on her face. I waited as I had a question. She then said “like the sign says on the door, the system is down. I can’t do anything right now.” and turned around to dismiss me. Her tone is so unpleasant and she clearly doesn’t want to be bothered.
Sadly, she has made it so unpleasant in that one brief interaction that I will not be coming back here. I will gladly drive out of my way to go to a location where the personnel want to do their job and can be pleasant.
I give grace to people. However, seeing how many people took the time to mention the notes and odd hours she’s gone to lunch, it tells me it’s a pattern and she doesn’t want to be bothered.
Do better, Ma’am. Maybe change jobs to one that you don’t hate so much.

They routinely do no open at the posted time of 8:30. Don't come before nine unless you want to wait in the lobby with no AC.

The clerk in this post office is so sweet and professional. She helps everyone and make them feel special. I think the only people who gets mad are the ones that are not prepared or want free tape or use the wrong tape on their packages. I love Ms Kennedy! I woulnt go anywhere else

Absolutely ridiculous that no matter what time of day I come in, they are conveniently CLOSED. No notice, non-holiday. Please just do us all a favor and close this location.

Not open during posted public hours. No one answers manager’s number posted on the door. Makes no sense.

I showed up at this post office and it appears that the computers are down. I knocked on the door and no one was answering. The doors are wide open here so you can still access your PO box and all, but no attendant.

10/29/2022, at the US Post Office, Homewood, 2710 18th St S, B'ham, AL 35209-1904, the lady was so nice and friendly, but I do not know her name. In fact, every time I've come to this particular post office, I've always been treated real nice. Thank you so much. God bless! Mark Elders
