“YOU ARE THE HIGHLIGHT! Im a big fan of stationary stores and gift shops alike. When I was growing up my parents would locate so,e of the best stationary stores and look through the books to find a Christmas card to send out later in the year. We would make this a family ordeal and I would usually tag along to help them decide on the card for the year. Since I moved away from them, this isn't really something that is typically on my to do list. But I do find it exciting and fun to walk inside stationary stores and look around. Definitely feels like a walk down memory lane for me. The woman working in the store gave us a small tour and asked if we needed any assistance. It doesn't seem like a lot of young people come into this store, but we were happy to find it and stop in. The store has a mixture of things from blank stationary, pens, cards and some statues and figurines. Though I told the woman working that I wasn't looking for anything, I was in fact looking for a boxed card set of Christmas cards, though now I am realizing that it might be too early. This shop is super cute. Definitely has some vintage charm. There is an old fashioned typewriter on display, could you imagine if we were still using type writers these days? Wild. I will definitely be coming back a little later in the year to again search for a boxed set of Christmas cards. I guess I like to do things the old fashioned way and still like to write and send cards to people. It's a way of expressing myself.”
