“Lovely grounds! The tent was nestled in an orchard of pecan trees and the reception somehow felt both intimate yet spacious. There were several "conversation spots" set up outside the tent so you could chat with friends but also plenty of room to bust a move on the dance floor. Another huge plus was the brand new, sparkling clean (even decorated!) restrooms- very important at any party! Definitely check out Fox Meadow when you're searching for a wonderful wedding venue.”

“Where shall I begin- the sacred one hundred year old oak trees drapped with resurection ferns? The fainting goats? The ducklings? The lush silence of breathing in the pure air? Maybe the actual lodging where I wanted for nothing. Richly designed and decorated for comfort. We baked cookies for a reunion we were attending and everything we needed minus the ingredients were here in the delightfully supplied kitchen. I took my morning medatation and tea beneath the jasmine vines on the patio with the blue jays and kitty-rinsing away the stress of the world.Do visit Fairhope Farm and try the hand made goat soap. “We photograph a lot of different venues, but we absolutely love Apiary! Beautiful space with lots of room, great staff that is attentive and kind, and really great lighting to work with. We can't wait to do more weddings here and highly recommend this space to any future couples!”

“We held our daughter’s college scholarship signing here and could not have been more pleased. Plenty of room but has a very intimate feeling. It’s a Beautiful space that is impeccably decorated! Josh and Jenna are wonderful hosts and the location is certainly one of the best in Fairhope! You cannot go wrong using The Balcony for your event!!”

“Beautiful grounds. Ample parking. Lots of choices. Huge barn with plenty of AC. I don't know who provided the food but it was very good. The chicken and the steak were amazingly tender and very flavorful. The cheese offerings were great and very tasty. We were there for a wedding and everything was super nice. Well done.”

“Such a cool place. If you are looking for a magical morning and a little bit of peace this organic blueberry farm is for you! They give you a bucket and you go pick the blueberries you want! Doesn’t get any fresher than this. They also have other organic vegetables like squash, Tomatoes, peppers. The owner is super nice and went out of his way to help us. Great spot for vegans and vegetarians to come check out. They even have farm stay cabins there as well.”

“We moved to downtown Fairhope in 2022 and loved watching the weekly parade of spring weddings, especially those at the Venue. Our daughter lives in Dallas but Fairhope was her top pick for a destination wedding location, and the Venue seemed to be the obvious choice to have it.
We had a wedding planner to ensure we had someone locally to keep all parties on track and ensure our wedding party and 130 guests had a memorable evening. The wedding was beautiful, and we would highly recommend the Venue for any bride’s choosing their spot. However, we feel compelled to share some less than perfect instances we suggest be addressed or discussed.
The Venue itself seemed to be understaffed. We had a welcome champagne that my sister-in-law and my wife had to buss tables because there was no one to pick up the empty glasses. We had our own separate caterer and the Venue said “well they have eight staff working so assumed they could help” - but that was not their responsibility. We had two bars, and each bar only had one bartender; we had specialty drinks that we paid for, but the bartender simply could not keep up with the mad rush and at times it was 15 minutes to get a beer. We would have gladly paid extra bartenders but was told it was not necessary. A lot of guests simply got two drinks at once, so they didn’t have to stand in line. When we brought this to their attention, they showed us pictures of empty bar lines but that was when people were eating.
We had a specialty cocktail capped at a certain dollar amount and since they didn’t pre-make them that added to the long lines. When I asked about that I was handed a piece of paper while I was still at my daughter’s wedding about paying that portion of the bill. I was told that not only did we reach the limit but that the bartenders actually made more than was part of the deal I find that hard to believe with the lines.
Dance floor. Drinks were spilled and no one from the Venue was on the lookout. We were told we should have told the bartender – I don’t think the mother of the bride should have to tell someone about cleaning something up at her daughter’s wedding.

Bottom line we still had a great wedding, the Venue itself is a convenient and beautiful location, but it would have been better if they had offered or recommended more staff and bartenders, which we would have gladly paid for.”
