“I had a fantastic experience at Happy Hollow today! I was wanting to go, but could never navigate through the traffic with Constuction. Thankfully, today was a good day to get to the shop and I am so glad!
I found two perfect retirement gifts and also a unique birthday gift. The ladies in the shop were so kind as to gift wrap everything with really cute tissue paper and bows and everything. The selection is huge, and then I saw the guns and knives in the back, what a great selection! I mean, it’s like a whole separate building that you can’t even tell from the front when you walk in… It’s like two stores in one and I don’t even think people realize it when they go in there. There’s a big section of tackle and men’s wear, ladies wear along with gifts and home decor and personal items, baby and kids gifts, and specialty southern items. They also have high-end sunglasses and fishing/hunting/beachwear. This will definitely be a place I go back for gifts and special occasions. Or just for me!
I really am glad the store is here and happy that when the construction on 72 finishes, everyone else will be able to get there as well! Don’t let this one go by, definitely stop in and browse around.”

“i love coming to this store because of the staff! i hate shopping but there hasnt been a time ive been in buckle and left empty handed. im terrible with names but it hardly matters because everyone ive interacted with there has been awesome. but especially mary grace and one other gorgeous lady with darker skin and curly hair. They always help me find the perfect thing im looking for and make me feel so welcome. so open minded and creative!! I had a rough day recently and went to pick up some clothes i ordered and they were so awesome and totally turned my day around <3 absolutely adore this place!! makes going to the mall worth it”

“Needed a suit, heard they had them, and bygod they do. Plenty to pick from. Too many to choose from is how I would describe it, until the owner came and helped me. I was without my wife, riding solo, trying to find something that fits me. I forget her name, but the woman who owns the store just saved my entire day. She was showing me option after option, having me try on this and that, asking me which I liked better and using my opinion to find the jacket and pant combo that looked the best.
Ended up leaving there with a suit and pant combo that will probably cause some issues, whenever I end up wearing it. Issues mainly with my wife, because any woman who sees me in it won't simply just look away. I wish she would've sold me a stick to go with it, to keep the ladies at bay.
Needless to say, the owner of The Look! in Florence saved my day, saved my wife a frustrating trip to Florence, found exactly what I was looking for even though I walked in not knowing what I needed. Very impressed with the way she runs her business, and anytime I need to look good, I shall return. It's a no brainer. Nowhere else in Florence, heck the entire quad cities, do you get the attention that she gives each customer. 11/10, will return again.”

“This is a little gem of a spot! It is a men’s store. Lots of classy stuff. Nice shirts (even some wilder shirts besides the dressy stuff) and slacks. Dress shoes. (Big sizes too!! Bigger than 13 even!)Ties of different kinds. Slacks. Nice socks. They do hemming or any alterations. The lady who owns it I believe she said it’s been in the family over 50 years! They picked the name because it was all the rage when the beetles were big. (Pretty sure that’s what the owner said, it’s worth just stopping in to chat, nice lady, very polite) the parking is out front. Not a huge amount of space. But across the highway there’s plenty of parking. The London shop is wheelchair friendly. There are no children items here that I seen. The lady who owns this place is very smart as well. Use to be a teacher. She has everything easy to shop price wise. Socks are 10$. And so on and so forth. No guessing what is this item vs this one. Very handy and organized that!!”

“I ordered an Oli and Hali top on line, (after business hours) and the next day they contacted me because that size was no longer available. They took measurements of the smaller size that they did have in stock and asked if I would like that top or they offered to refund my money. I am so happy that I got the smaller size. “I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars! Tracey (sorry if spelled incorrectly) and Jordan were so patient with my friends and I and we had a great shopping experience! We came to browse at first. I ended up trying a few things on (that I did not end up purchasing), and we ended up getting some t-shirts made and buying some Knick-knacks, and some really cool earrings! I definitely want to go back when I have more time to visit and see about some new items when the season changes. I highly recommend this place and I cannot wait to go back!”
