“This was such an easy process with this U-Haul site. I talked to a person once and was able to pick up and drop off on my own through the APP.
KNOW THIS-
1. The pick up is not the same entrance as Foley Guns-it is to the left on the gravel road and the keys are also there for mobile pick up through the APP. The APP will show you pictures of where the keys are located when you enter the pickup phase.
2. The APP will ask for your drivers licenses pic and other things before you get the key. Our phones did well with this. When dropping off, you will also have some pictures to take before returning the keys. Each time it took about ten to 15 min to complete and we were not expecting it.
3.Using the load and unload companies on the UHaul site was easy. We used one from Summerdale, Al and they were great. Make sure you tip with cash. You will use the U-HAUL APP once again when they finish their work. U-HAUL will pay them when job is complete after entering the code.

“As long as you bring what they require you to have when you come to pick up your reserved uhaul, no issues or delay will occur. The customer in front of me missed his scheduled pick up date and would not accept that his rental was cancelled. They could not provide another uhaul because all had become reserved out to other customers so none were available. Every excuse this guy could make was given to the clerks who very nicely explained he was supposed to be there the day before and since he didn't show, the next customer in line received the opportunity. He blamed email confusion then said who he talked to seemed high on the phone but none of it mattered because none were left available to rent out to him. If it wasn't for this customer and his lack of understanding the process of renting a uhaul, I could have been in and out within 5 minutes but took 30 minutes of standing there listening to him rant on and on. All this paperwork and emails he had with him, he never once would acknowledge the pick up date that was stated on there. I give it to the clerks who have the patience for things such as this. The ability to keep cool without losing it happened and they did a great job handling it.”
