“I went into Honeycreeper chocolates not realizing that they cohabitate with this clothing store as well. A few pieces on their sale rack caught my eye out front, but nothing that made me want to purchase anything. I did not interact with the staff, but the main reason I knocked off one star is based on the pricing this store utilizes. I understand and appreciate the goals and ideals of sustainability that basic. is trying to promote. However, I feel that $630 for a sweater dress is not the answer to promote sustainable fashion.The owners informed me that there is a section of used clothing in the back of the store starting at $10, which I think it very smart. I will have to go back and check it out!”

“This is one of the coolest ? and artistic designer and alteration artists near Birmingham, Alabama. Exquisite taste and a sweetheart disposition who’s always willing to assist even if you’re a “drive by”, like me.? He has recently changed addresses in Tarrant and is now located at 1140 Ford Avenue with a new number as well. (I’ll let him post it publicly.) Word on the streets is he also hopes to open a shop in Gardendale in the future. He graciously stopped what he was doing and made an alteration for me this morning amid a very busy schedule to not only offer advice but made the alteration while I waited. Thanks!, Paul”

While the dress I fell in love with didn't fit and I was too pressed for time to meander long enough to try anything else, the store was still worth reviewing. Adorable chic clothing with a sweetest staff. They were accommodating and helpful in every way. I even walked away with dinner suggestions. “I have tried to shop here multiple times and each is the same- I just cannot give business to a store that does not greet, does not engage or offer help, and looks at the customer as if deciding whether they are worthy of assistance. Each time I leave feeling like Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman after her first shopping attempt.After the last time when my daughter was treated in the same manner, I am compelled to leave a review. Other Homewood boutiques are much more pleasant, kind, helpful and will receive my business.I am updating my review based on my most recent experience. I chose to try and shop again. It was completely different ?I was greeted and offered help. The associate working the fitting room offered her opinion when I asked since I was shopping for my daughter. The staff was friendly and were helping many in the store as well. I am glad I gave the store another chance. I am optimistic that when I go back (and I plan to do so) it will be a similar experience and not like my prior ones. ??”
