“Kilgore pharmacy is a great pharmacy. I have used both Fort Payne locations for several years. As a full-time live-in caretaker I've faced a number of needs for medications and supplies. Through at least seven surgeries, three strokes and a year of endstage dementia and everything between kilgore's has been my "one stop shop" for medications, sterile supplies, surgical aftercare supplies and medical equipment.Due to a life-threatening infection a family member was in need of some medications every other pharmacy the hospital tried to force us into using said they were very hard to get and expensive due to insurance companies refusing to cover it. Kilgore Pharmacy had the medication in stock the very next morning and insurance did cover it. They took all hastle out of a potentially dangerous situation had we not got that medication. This is also the only time they haven't had what I needed in stock and available.The staff is great. All are very knowledgeable people and they help you right away. They make everything as easy as possible for everyone. They'll help you through any paperwork or insurance information you need help with for free to. They also offer a lot of testing on-site. It's always nice and clean and organized in their stores as well. Both locations are very easily accessible to anyone with a disability or handicap or wheelchairs/mobility scooters. Or you can just use the drive thru.Overall it's a great place with great people and prices. I'd recommend it over any other pharmacy in the area.”
