As a new business owner in the world of Shaved Ice, I was having difficulty finding the Ice blocks needed for my machine. The owner of Artic Ice, Mr. Patrick, had a limited supply of what I needed. Instead of directing me to someone else he started making what I needed. He also advised me on the Shaved Ice business and has helped me so much with useful information on the ins and outs of the business! He has such a wonderful and personable demeanor! Makes me feel welcome everytime I meet with him or call for an order!”
“Really tight on the inside but they do have a lot to offer from drinks, liquor, beers, and snacks. their gas prices go up and down, sometimes cheaper then other stores around but sometimes a lot more. Its a great store though!”
“I went into Finch’s for the first time about 6 weeks ago. I’ve been several times since for personal wine and wine for several parties since then. It is my favorite new discovery in the area! I love the selection. It is well curated, so you’re not overwhelmed by choices, and the staff is so knowledgeable! It has an unpretentious feel and doesn’t make you feel dumb if you don’t know much about specific wines. It has a great mix of price points. I am so glad I discovered Finch!”

“Modern upscale but relaxed atmosphere tucked in a strip mall setting. Service was great. Staff was very knowledgeable. They made great recommendations based on just a few questions. The burrata with olive oil and crostini toast was a star. Creamy heaven on perfectly toasted bread. The 3 cheeses on the board were well balanced. Not pictured is the bread and olive oil dish. This was our least favorite dish. The olive oil was good quality but the bread was lackluster for us. If it were toasted it may have been better but for a plain piece of bread it just didn't add to the dish. Sort of like wheat bread from subway. We had two white wines based on their recommendations that were lovely. We even got a bottle of each to take home.”

“It's a state store, so the prices are Tha same as any ABC store. The staff here are a little hands-off compared to Crestwood or Mountain Brook, and will only help if asked nicely. At least this is my experience. The selection is basic but OK. The store itself is pretty ratty, but they keep it reasonably clean. Not my favorite ABC store, but I'll go there if it's closest.”
“Piggly Wiggly is a good grocery in general but what truly sets them apart, in my opinion, is the wine & beer. They really have the best selection with a variety of types and prices and most of the time have an expert on hand to help you find just what you're looking for. I have received MANY great recommendations from their wine guys over the years - and you can really trust their recommendations.”
“Nice place with a decent bourbon selection.I mainly stipped in to see if I could find some rums to bring back home. The rum prices are a bit higher than what I pay at home, but I did find a Plantation Jamaican Dry on sale, so I picked it up. They also carry nice, higher priced rums that are hard to find.The two ladies were very nice working the registers.”

“So clean everything looks fresh. One thing I saw that got my attention was a fruit I never heard of before but have heard of lol. You'll see what u mean in a sec. I was browsing through YouTube videos and cMe across someone interviewing Bronny James about his favorite snacks. One snack he mentioned were "cotton candy grapes". I said to myself, "cotton candy grapes?? What are those?" I ran across those at this store and just had to investigate. I tried them and they actually taste like juicy cotton candy lol. Very different and very good! I haven't seen these anywhere else! Try'em!”
“The staff was very helpful and cordial. I like coming here it is one of the first ABC Stores I've been to when I turn 21. I highly recommend that you come and shop for your spirits here. By the way where a mask or two.”

“This is a busy location and a small store, so it can be hit or miss. Sometimes the shelves are empty and sometimes you can walk out with that hard-to-find bottle. I was lucky enough to find Crown Peach on my last visit. Staff is friendly, and there is one gentleman who works there who has actually helped with recommendations when I've wanted to try new bourbons.”

“Hard to park close by so be prepared to walk a little and if you're handicap go to another store unless you can walk to and from.I live in Clay so I'm in the middle of 3 stores. Trussville, but that's us 11,Pinson and Springville. Springville is the easiest by far. Chalkville rd is never on the list due to traffic.”
