“LeNell’s is the most unique spirits and wine shop in the entire metro. For years, I’ve frequented this spot for unique wines, strange and out of this world spirits, and tailored service. The second you walk in, you’ll notice the charm and feel to this spot. It isn’t about quantity here. You won’t find garbage, either. This is the spot for unique items, limited editions, and stuff you won’t find anywhere else in birmingham. She even does occasional tastings, AND she usually has some incredible deals going on as well as very low price options for when you’re in a pinch. Of all the spirits stores in the metro, this one is by far the most unique.”

201 Cahaba Park Cir, Birmingham AL 35242
“I stopped by yesterday just to check out the shop and was impressed with how large of a selection was available and with the quality of the wines in stock. Within minutes of coming in, I was greeted and given the layout of the wines. I truly felt like I got the “local” experience with great conversation with no pushy sales tactics. I walked away with 3 great bottles of champagne and will definitely be coming back again because of how good this experience was. Highly recommend checking them out.”

“Fantastic. Not only great quality meat, but their premade meals are reasonably priced and delicious. Check out their “freezer packing” bundles, maybe the best deal in town. Their wine section is extensive and well priced, the bottles I recognized were cheaper than I usually find. I end up going to more than 1 grocery store looking for deals anyways, and this spot is a steal”

“They got liquor. Plenty of it. The wayward and lost of the neighborhood wander like zombies in the parking lot, while the charming owners crack jokes and welcome actual paying customers with a smile. Gotta say, my favorite package store in downtown Birmingham.”

1425 Montgomery Hwy, Birmingham AL 35216
“This store is a convenient option if you’re in the area and need to make a quick purchase. While the selection is adequate and includes most standard products, I have found it to be somewhat more limited than the inventory available at the Mountain Brook ABC Store. One area for improvement is product availability. I enjoy Solerno Blood Orange Liqueur and was disappointed to learn that this location does not stock it or offer the ability to request special orders. By comparison, other liquor stores allow you to request certain products and the Mountain Brook ABC Store consistently carries Solerno Liquor. Additionally, customer service could be improved. As it is now, the ambiance of the store does not encourage customers to spend more money. It encourages them to get out as quickly as possible. A greater emphasis on professionalism, courtesy, and customer engagement would enhance the overall shopping experience. While the store meets basic needs, there is room for improvement in both customer service and product flexibility. I recommend this as a liquor store if it is the closest. Just get in and out as quickly as possible. Their selection is less than that of the Mountain Brook Store but they have most things. I thought you could request a bottle or case of a certain liquor but they do not allow that. I enjoy Solerno, a blood orange liquor, but this store refuses to stock it. Mountain Brooks ABC Store always has is it! The attitude of the employees at this store may benefit from a lesson in civility and professionalism!”

1505 Pinson Valley Parkway, Birmingham AL 35217
“Surprisingly good selection of elixirs and cigars, all in a well-lit and modern space. Though, their prices are a little higher than I expected. The cashier who attended me seemed a little out of it, but still helped me get what I needed. Also, fun fact, this used to be a Subway franchise. Feels weird knowing I used to eat sandwiches where there's now enough liquor to knock out Big Al.”

3314 Clairmont Ave, Birmingham AL 35222
“This store has been a mainstay in southside for many years and it's all thanks to that HALL OF FAME STORE MANAGER, Jamal. He did it before Publix and EVERYONE ELSE! Love this store, love its people, and love Piggly Wiggly Birmingham!”

5712 Chalkville Mountain Road Suite 100, Birmingham AL 35235
“I highly recommend the ABC Beverage store in Trussville! The employees are always exceptionally kind, friendly, and helpful. Every visit is a pleasant experience because the staff consistently goes out of their way to assist customers and provide excellent service. The store is clean, well-organized, and stocked with a great selection of products. The only reason I occasionally shop elsewhere is because they do not currently carry Solerno Blood Orange Liqueur, which is one of my favorite spirits. If they ever decide to stock Solerno, they would earn all of my business without question! That small wish aside, this is an outstanding store with an outstanding team. The employees make a real difference, and their professionalism and customer service are second to none. I highly recommend the Trussville ABC Beverage store to anyone looking for a great shopping experience.”
