“8 like the store in general good stuff at fair prices but I bought a flashlight and it never came on and worked. I returned it at my first opportunity but I got a hard time at customer service they tried giving me a 2.99 gift card for the 10 or 15 dollar flashlight I had originally bought. I ended up with no flashlight and a 7.00 dollar gift card. I wasn't at all happy with the customer service or the return policy if they even have one”

“I live in AZ, but needed to buy materials for a flooring install in AL. I am military, but their system is set up to validate the ID in the store. Jim at the Dothan store was beyond helpful in getting this done for me. He also explained products and calculated materials for me. This was not one, but 5 or 6 phone calls and he never once sounded anything but excited to help. These days any help is hard to find, but good help is rare indeed. Thanks, Jim! You're a gem.”

“I had an A/C unit capacitor that went bad on a Friday and needed the part "right now" VS calling a HVAC service tech to come out and charge 400 dollars for a 20 dollar part. The people at Johnstone Supply were helpful, friendly, and appeared knowledgeable on what they were selling. I brought the bad capacitor into the store and the employee took a quick look at it, went to a shelf and picked out the replacement part. It's refreshing to see employees who still know something about the parts and what they stock instead of relying totally on what the computer tells them.I would recommend them to anyone in the area!”
“I came by here today and I cannot believe how absolutely massive the store is, there's just something very charming about it as well. It is very open and has just about everything you could possibly imagine from tractor tires to live little chickens to Candy.I was really disappointed to see that they did not sell hot tamales but instead they sold cinnamon bears which are God's worst mistake.However, I was really impressed it just how large and well organized this door was, the staff is very happy and friendly as well and they must get lots of steps in everyday walking all over this giant store.”

“The staff here are very knowledgeable and always seem to be helpful to others. It’s a well-established business in our small town, and I really appreciate having a local option that saves me the trip to Dothan.
One thing I didn’t know is that you need to remove the chains from your chainsaw to have them sharpened.
That’s probably common knowledge for more experienced users, but since I don’t use mine often, I’ll take care of that another time.
Ace is in a convenient location right of 431. For those of you who know where the restroom is in almost every store (because like me, you drink a gallon of water everyday) it’s worth noting there’s no public restroom.
Overall, it’s so nice to have such a handy local place to rely on.”
