“Adopted my first kitty from here. Great people who really care about cats, will give you the A to Z about cats and make sure you know every little think about cats before you adopt the cat.”
“I first met Keli in 2012 through work and now have the honor of working with her on different projects for Hatching Hope these past few years. It has been truly incredible watching her and her son take a small, yet ambitious idea and turn it into an organization that has helped so many in such a short period of time! The Birmingham apartment community is lucky to have Keli and her team. They care deeply for people, which pushes them to reach far and beyond Birmingham to provide disaster relief for those in need. Keli and Jessica, keep after it! You're making a difference in the lives of so many! And to those reading this review, YOU can help support Hatching Hope by shopping their Thrift Studio in Alabaster, AL!”
“Amazing I'm a T1D and they help control it well treating us no different. So many fun things to do. Water slide pool lake anything a person could want. The leader John Ladimer is amazing his wife to. I love this camp and recommend to any person with diabetes.”
“Amazing therapists. They have a very thoughtful approach to helping your child. Dr. Law is awesome and very knowledgeable. We drive 45 minutes to see them! Well worth the drive time.”
“Kids play is fine. Tucked way back around and through …a bit of a short strange journey to the area. Toys and toys on toys there for the kiddos and nice staff. Machines and treadmills were nice. Good WiFi as I had some work to do too. Coffee was a nice touch in the small open seating area. Those outside pools looked nice for warm summer days.”

“The location is clean and the staff is extremely polite and professional. They are always asking if you're comfortable in the process of giving blood. Snacks, Coffee, and Drinks are always in stock.”
“I've been a proud member of the Alabaster YMCA since 2009, and it's been a cornerstone for my family and me. Not only have I utilized it as a gym, but my children have also thoroughly enjoyed the camps, pool, sports, and various activities offered. The YMCA has provided a wealth of opportunities for them to learn, play, and grow. What sets this YMCA apart is the sense of community. Each morning, I'm greeted with warmth and friendliness, making my workouts more than just exercise; they're a chance to connect with a big, welcoming family. This sense of belonging and togetherness is what I love most about the Alabaster YMCA. It's not just a facility; it's a community hub that brings joy and wellness to every family that walks through its doors.”
“We came here for an Early Intervention evaluation for my toddler who didn’t end up qualifying (they need to expand what counts as qualifying but that’s not the Arc’s fault) and to sign paperwork for my infant to get early intervention services. They are super friendly and helpful one lady even helped me get my toddler to my car when he didn’t want to leave”
“This is a wonderful facility for viewing and learning about birds, particularly raptors. The habitats are clean and well maintained and there are educational plaques that teach visitors about the birds and how they came to live at the center. We spent way more time here than we expected to, and enjoyed every minute and learned so much! The volunteers we met were so informative and one volunteer let us tag along and answered our many questions as she was feeding the raptors. This was a highlight of our trip to Birmingham! Thank you all for what you do!!!”
