“Since we are from out of town, we only visit when we go to UAB. Initially a window display lured my husband in to get a product he had been looking for at the big box stores with no luck. We ended up coming out with 8 items, several of which he had been looking for for a good while. Great experience with all the products we bought when we visited! They have products that you can only find in an old time hardware store. We also called several months after our last visit with questions about reorder on a product we were especially happy with that no one offered locally. They checked to see if another was in stock. Said they were out, but would order for us and took our name & number to call when it comes in! Thanks for the great customer service in person & over the phone!!! We will be back again when we are in B'ham!”

The guy showed me with a measuring tape what I would actually be looking at when windows are put up . Instead of him trying to talk me into three or four windows, he helped me decide that two would be enough . Very thankful for the honest help!”

“We have used M&M twice for appliance repair. Both times we were treated fairly. The technician explained what the problem was, gave us a quote, and discussed with us the pros and cons of the repair. Our most recent was the dryer. It was almost completely disassembled and we could see the issues. There was no pressure, just information and a recommendation. I highly recommend them for appliance repair and I would expect the same for any other service.”

“My company deals with them very frequently, the only time I have ever ( in 25 years) had less than stellar service. Is if a driver is on vacation or they have a new driver on the route. But everyone is very professional, knowledgeable and kind. Great dispatch and the drivers are great its a welcome treat to deal with Mike on a weekly basis!!”
“My experience wasn’t in store but on the phone with a CSR. Caleb went above and beyond. I needed help in plumbing and instead of ringing that department for 20 minutes as the Bessemer store did, Caleb went to that department himself to get the information I needed. I didn’t ask him to do that, he just did. It’s called customer service for a reason. That young man deserves the accolades!”

“It started out with a leaky toilet and ended with a total bathroom update. Home Depot was where we ended up finding a lot of what we needed. And the items we had to order came in pretty quickly and in good shape. Seem to have a mix of employees who know what they're doing and know all their stuff and some you're better off with trial and error picking your own supplies. Some are new, so hopefully that learning curve won't be too bad because they seem like nice enough guys. Not that they didn't want to help, just didn't have the experience yet. Not the easiest location to get into and out of during heavy traffic times, but the location is conveniently, centrally located to serve a lot of people, and parking lot itself is good. It's just located at a busy intersection.”
