“From the time I walked into this Super Target store, Desiree, a cashier exemplified EXCELLENT customer service to me. (At 1pm on Sunday, 4 or 5 cashiers had 0 customers.) Seeing I needed help, Desiree directed me to the juicers, looked for the Breville, took it off the shelf. She was very patient with me. As a senior citizen needing directions often when in a megastore, I am so grateful to DESIREE for giving me the royal treatment at HOOVER TARGET, on GROVE BLVD.”

“My family and I always enjoy shopping at the Homewood location. The staff are always friendly. The store is always neat and clean, with the usual random restocking boxes located neatly out of the aisles for shopping convenience. In my experience, I am almost always greeted when I walk in the front door. Check out is always very friendly and professional. Definitely my favorite Target store in the Birmingham area.”
“I was very pleased with the service of the geek squad. Alex and Shane did misspell my last name on the paper work when I went to pick up my laptop. It was ironic because we talked about names. They were really nice guys though. Donovan at the door complimented me and was very kind as well????”
“I would like to thank Mrs. French for not only helping me reslove an ongoing issue with Mr. Eric store in (Brookwood Verizon). But for acknowledging the struggle it was for me to close my account.
Had I not gone to this location I would NOT have known that two of three devices that I have returned to the Brookwood Verizon were still active on my account.
Thank you RiverChase Verizon!
To other patrons of Verizon keep your receipts and follow up on any business arrangements with Verizon.”

“This weekend there was an error with a purchase I made. I returned to the store tonight and one of the team members- maybe a manager- rectified the issue and was so kind about it. I then did more shopping and while there I watched her juggle multiple checkout issues, train another employee, and stock items..all with a pleasant attitude.”
“Went to the Hoover location and Jenny was amazing! We had to call for directions and she gave excellent directions. I went in for a new phone and the process was such a breeze. She even helped my girlfriend out with a new phone! 10/10 service!! Give her a raise she definitely deserves it!”
“The sales associate, Mumtaz, on John Hopkins Parkway in Hoover, Alabama was very helpful and courteous regarding my purchase. He had product knowledge and had amazing customer service skills.”
“This is considered Walgreens Galleria. It is ridiculously busy. We used this Walgreens about 4 years ago, then transferred prescriptions to the old Rite Aid at Hoover Commons. We loved it, Walgreens bought out that store. Then they suddenly closed with a little notice, in February 2024. So now we are forced to return to the “Galleria Walgreens”.
Joy, One of the Veteran pharmacists that was at the previous Walgreens, the one that closed is now working here. She may be there part time or maybe she floats. I am unsure, but she is AMAZING! It is so nice to see a familiar face and someone who knows you. She is very personable and helpful.
Sometimes they’re just too busy,. The customer service is usually decent. I’ve had a couple of times where I’ve been hung up on, or placed on representative hold, many times when I’ve called and had a genuine problem with the app, not letting me refill a prescription that I could see, it was just tell me it was at a store that was no longer open. And short of going there myself, you must call.
So there is a disconnect between the app and this store. The app stinks. It is not very reliable. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t.
At any rate, I would give this store a 4/5 on Customer service. They are helpful, it’s just really hard to get through. I miss the short waits, Familiar faces, helpful and friendly staff at our other Walgreens.
And for that reason, I may transfer our prescriptions somewhere else.
I can’t complain because they always have my medication in stock. They can’t help that they’re very busy. So that’s the only complaint I have. I guess busy is a good thing, but they’re only human. I suppose it gets a little crazy working at a place where the drive-through is always five or six cars deep. And there’s usually a line inside as well.
If you use this, Walgreens, I would suggest you just park and go inside. Drop off your prescription and come back later.
I used to get my prescriptions filled while I waited about five minutes at the old Walgreens that is now permanently closed. Those were the days.
I don’t mind waiting, I don’t mind dropping off. But you have to go at a time like 3 o’clock in the afternoon. Avoid Early pick ups, Avoid the lunch hour 11-1 and by all means avoid 5 O’clock rush-hour. Go after 7 PM if thru week.”
“Some of the best customer service I've experienced. I had a relatively small repair, but it required finesse-they worked me into an already full schedule, did the job in far less time than I had a right to expect, and went the extra mile to correct a problem that made the job more complicated than we thought it would be. These guys deserve your business.”
