It's so convenient, as they stock many of those items that you always forget, but don't want to go back to a big store to pick up.Their staff probably knows most of its customers by name. This particular Dollar General definitely has built loyalty among locals.”

“Again these stores are a blessing especially if you live out in country because you dont have to go 20 miles to walmart or grocery store for simple stuff you may need. Actually they carry more items than you would think. Workers are quick to help if you need and usually locals in the community that work there. “OMG! I planned my daughter a surprise sweet sixteen birthday party and ordered decorations from Amazon. Apparently I should have read what all came with it but from the picture posted it looked like a full set up. Once I finally opened the package the night before the party I realize all it came with was a tiara, a sash, 2 table toppers, and 2 banners! Omg! I went into straight anxiety mode. The color theme was rose gold and black and it was nearly impossible for me to find any rose gold decorations in store for plates and setting the tables. The balloon situation was what was stressing me out the most because I even went to family dollar and got balloons there and they were blown up, once I came back to get them they were deflated. So I woke up the next morning calling stores to see if anyone had rose gold colored balloons and my boyfriend suggested I try dollar tree. I was like YOU’RE RIGHT! I DIDN’T THINK ABOUT THAT! So I called the Spanish fort location on a wing and a prayer and Chelsea answered the phone. I could tell she was busy taking care of other customers so I had no problem waiting until she was free to let her know what I was looking for. She paged someone that she thought was working the party aisle that day and he wasn’t so Chelsea went out of her way to go check the back decoration kits herself and even sent me a picture of what she had found and it was a PERFET match for the color scheme! While most get up and go to their job because they need a paycheck, and you ask for help they roll their eyes, don’t want to answer any questions, and they make you seem like a bother as if you made them choose their line of work. But then you have the Chelsea’s of the world who is willing to go above and beyond to satisfy all customers! From the start of the conversation through the end she not once got frustrated with me while still running the store and looking for what I needed. I was so in awe! Her customer service is immaculate and if she isn’t the manager of that location she definitely should be! I couldn’t thank God enough for letting everything fall into place as it did and Chelsea played a MAJOR roll in the turnout! Thank you so much Chelsea! I truly hope this company values you as an employee and treats you very well and with the upmost because you are definitely meant to deal with people! Your attitude and customer service are AMAZING!!!!!!”
“A really nice Dollar General, with an expanded grocery section. Tiffany and Nancy are really sweet, too! This store is not only bigger and better staffed, but it seems cleaner and more spacious, too. Just be sure to look at the dates on foods, sometimes there’s expired stuff on the shelves. Not as bad as the other dollar stores in the area, but I’ve found a few things here and there.”

“This store seems like it is just around the corner. I have been shopping here now for 8 years and very thankful that we have a store close by. Barb has probably been there since the store has opened. She is extremely friendly and knows her store like the back of her hand, every time I can’t find anything she knows right where it is. Yesterday I was in the store and Bill was at the register knocking it out. This guy can get you in and out. He is very pleasant and respectful. I hadn’t been in the store in awhile and he told me yesterday that he hadn’t seen me in long time. It’s nice to go somewhere and the people know you. The store is run very well and have great service. I had to recognize these two because they are both great.”

“Some of the nicest folks around!! They are always in a good mood and happy to help! This store also always looks brand new and stocked. Good job with what yall have turned it into!! They also always have amazing clearance and deals. This place is my go to! Never going to another dollar store again. Alea the store manager is always smiling even when I bring up buggies full of food. Alexis and Shannon are also my favorite ladies up there so so funny. Thank you guys for being so awesome❤️”
