They made it easy to come back and use as as my cat's primary veterinary care as well. With treatment options and boarding available, this clinic helped keep my little girl healthy and happy for her days in Huntsville.
The staff is courteous, caring, and responsive and the vet, Dr. Belser, was very effective with knowledge and expertise on my cat and her needs.
I couldn't say enough praise for the staff and their commitment to health and safety for their charges.

We moved from Texas and it was hard to find another place to trust our baby with. We drive 20 mins just to get their service, definitely worth it ❤️

The staff was young and energetic, they got down on the floor to play with him! This place seems like it will be a positive experience all around. We did not meet the doctor, was not a medical visit. He had his anal glands expressed. Which was $42.00. Pricey $$$. BUT he was NOT terrified or traumatized. He was happy. So I'm ECSTATIC.

Protect your dogs from heartworm through the vax. They get the worms through mosquitos. It KILLS.
Pray for my sweet 15 year old going through the protocol to save her life and vaccinate your dog. We live in a hot and humid area rife w heartworm-carrying mosquitos.
Thank you God. Had I not scheduled w them, Blyss would not be here much longer.

Best Friends Animal Hospital
34 Hughes Rd E, MadisonThese are the nicest and most caring people you could ever trust with your pet. Dr. Agnew and all the techs were wonderful when the sad day that I had dreaded came. They treated me and my beloved dog Pup Pup with so much respect and love as they sat with us as I cried over having to say my goodbyes. We all gathered as we sat with Pup Pup as Dr. Agnew explained what she would do,, and gently proceeded to put her to sleep. They told me, I could stay as long as I needed and comforted me in such a sweet way. They even made arrangements, that I requested to have PAWS come pick her up for cremation and return her for me to pick up. This is something no one wants to face, but when the time does come, it’s comforting to know that you do have the most professional, comforting and caring Doctors and Staff at Best Friends Animal Hospital. Thank you so much Dr. Agnew and the entire Staff for helping me and my Pup Pup get through such a difficult day. I appreciate so much everything you all did that day.

8504 US-72, MadisonEvery time we bring our cats here, I leave so impressed! The actual veterinarians are great and explain things well, but the vet techs here are really what I love about this place! They seem to really love cats and are so kind and loving to ours, even when we bring in the shy cat. This last visit, while we waited for the vet to come in, the vet tech even cleared out the bottom shelf of the cabinet so our cat could hide and feel safe. 100% would recommend this vet for anyone with cats!

1508282000021000, MadisonOutstanding Professional Help We found Companion Animal Care about five years ago when my wife and I moved to Huntsville and needed various services for our senior King Charles Cavalier, Rex. Through a number of medical issues that Rex had over the years, Dr. David Alford and his caring staff were always attentive to Rex's (and our) needs and provided expert and empathetic care and advice that helped keep him safe and healthy. Then on April 3, 2024 Rex was severely mauled by a Doberman and his life hung in the balance. Dr. Rhonda Buxton, who was a recent addition to the Companion staff, immediately took charge of the situation. As Rex battled for his life, Dr. Buxton and the staff repeatedly worked on keeping him alive, comfortable, and stable in his recovery. When he took a turn for the worse and we made the difficult decision that it was time to lovingly say goodbye, Dr. Buxton helped ease him out of his pain. With my wife Nancy and I in attendance, we said our goodbyes to the little guy. Throughout the whole experience, the staff at Companion Animal Clinic was exceptionally empathetic and professional, making that period more bearable for Nancy and me. The spaces the dogs are kept in are very clean, the staff members are kind and receptive to their needs, and there is a vet within the building in the unlikely case of an emergency. While we don’t like to leave our handsome boy behind, we are confident he is well taken care of here.
