Are the tanks looked healthy and well kept, but they were having trouble with the neon tetras, which have not been as healthy anywhere the last few years. They had sold out of most of their small mammals, presumably because it was the weekend of the fourth of July. They have a well organized and clean store with a full selection of food and supplies for most pets.

158 Bradford Lane, HuntsvilleFirst I would like to say that I very rarely write reviews. But, after spending over a month trying to do what was NOT done (but was requested and paid for), I'm tired and sore.
Before I begin, I want to say that Zen's Grooming is absolutely wonderful IF you have A 'Non Shedding' dog, such as Poodles or Yorkies. They do treat the dogs well and patiently.
Both of my dogs are shedding dogs with medium to somewhat long fur. One, being A Border Collie/lab has a double undercoat. It was not noticed until a month later, but what I've seen is that they absolutely did not do deshedding. Instead they just cut her fur, which is just now beginning to grow back out. They trimmed her all over, including rounding out the tips of the tail on both dogs like a poodle. Ugg... Border Collies don't have rounded tails and it's taken 2 months just to begin to grow back out. I've spent this past months brushing just the one dog trying to get her undercoat off; which has been made more difficult because of the all over cutting. The only cutting they were supposed to do was the sanitary trim and to thin out the fur on their back legs (their paw pads and claws were done at home a week prior). Obviously, I will be looking for a Groomer who knows how to perform deshedding.

One that had alot of resources available as my boys have both challenging personalities and medical conditions, we didn't want to constantly be referred out. All of those boxes were checked finding this clinic!!! The staff are so friendly, compassionate and caring. From the wonderful front of house ladies, who know my boys on sight to the amazing techs and vets, we have always felt seen and heard when discussing our concerns. Due to their medical challenges we've already had several visits in a short amount of time and while vet care is not cheap no matter where you go, I've never felt it was unaffordable here, nor that I wasn't getting top care for my boys! Relocating is tough enough, I'm thankful to have found this clinic to help keep my boys happy and healthy!!! Absolutely recommend everyone at Animal medical clinic to look after my babies like their own!!

Since our problem-child Toby-wan Kenobi to our current herd of cats and dogs, 16 years later, there is no one I trust more than Dr. Combs. Her heart for animals knows NO boundaries; I've brought in a baby bunny I accidentally mowed over and she treated her, no questions asked. If you are hesitant about sending your dog to a trainer because you are worried about them losing their personality, don’t be. Nick knows exactly what he is doing. He is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and takes the time to explain not only what he is doing, but why each little piece of the training matters. He also makes sure you understand how to continue reinforcing everything at home so the training sticks. I took my 9 month old Golden Retriever to Nick for his 4 week board and train program to learn some manners, and I could not be happier with the results. Four weeks seem like a long time, but it was absolutely worth it. The weekly video updates were one of my favorite parts of the experience. Being able to see his progress throughout the four weeks and watch what he was learning made being away from him so much easier. He came home such a well mannered boy, but the best part is that he is still the same goofy, silly, lovable puppy he was before. Nick didn’t change who he is; he simply helped him become the best version of himself. I would highly recommend Nick to anyone looking for a dog trainer, especially if you’re considering the board and train program. His knowledge, attention to detail, and genuine care for the dogs he works with really set him apart. I wouldn’t hesitate to trust him with any dog or training concern.

Furst Place Pet Resort
785 Ryland Pike, HuntsvilleOn a Sunday afternoon, we found a dog in our neighborhood that had somehow escaped from her owner. She had a collar and looked well taken care of, but no contact info on her collar. After posting on social media, we were unsure what to do so I called Furst Place and they offered to scan her to see if she was chipped. Fast forward through taking the dog to Furst Place, scanning and finding the chip, then several calls to the chip company, we found the owner and was able to return the dog to her human.
Why am I recommending Furst Place? Because they stopped what they were doing to help me help an animal in our community. They didn’t have to. This was not one of their animals. I am not a current customer. But they are in our small community and because of that, they went above and beyond to assist me.
If you are a current customer of this establishment, know that when you leave your fur babies with them, they are cared for by humans that care about animals and the community.
If you are looking for a boarding location in the future, please be sure to give them a call and see if they are available.
Thanks Furst Place for going above and beyond this weekend to help me when I got stuck trying to do a good deed. I am sooooo glad that you guys are in our community.

I’m well aware of the options but there is nothing in SE Huntsville with diverse of a menu. My wife and I tried tonight and I foresee us eating here atleast a couple of times a week. Great menu and food. The servings are huge. We’ll be back!

The staff genuinely makes an effort to provide warm, friendly, and personal service. Every drink is prepared with a level of consistency that I really appreciate. You can tell there are proper recipes and standards behind each drink, which means the experience is reliably good every time.
What I probably enjoy most, though, is how the people here take the time to actually get to know their regular customers. Some of them have gotten to the point where they can almost predict what I’m going to order, and I absolutely love that kind of familiarity.
That personal connection may be part of the concept behind the brand, but at this location it feels genuine, and that makes a big difference.
I like the coffee, but the reason I keep coming back is the service and the way they treat people.

I got the chicken burrito without red onion and my boyfriend got the grilled ham and pineapple sandwich. The service was great. It was quite slow and we were the only ones to sit down as opposed to a few others who came in for takeout. Very quiet and cozy. 5 stars across the board!

We were unfortunately unable to use much of the outdoor space due to a winter storm, but in most Alabama weather it would be absolutely perfect. The patio is covered, with curtains and heaters for chillier temperatures. Indoor and outdoor bar windows, a sound system, string lights, fire pits! We'd love to use the space again in better weather!

We have adopted twice from Rocket City Rescue- and have had great experiences both times. Everyone we have worked with has been patient, informative, and kind.
I can’t imagine the amount of applications they get for each animal- dogs and cats are constantly turned over to them and they need to be quick to get them a good forever home so they can handle the next ones coming in.
I am guilty of reaching out and falling through on my commitments to come see an animal or visit an adoption event- it’s happened a few times. I know I’m not the only one who has done this and their job can be extremely frustrating.
I give them all the props for patience and kindness. I don’t know if we will get a third pup (never say never lol) but I will ALWAYS recommend RCR to my friends and family needing a new family member!
