But we were pleasantly surprised by first how the office didn't smell like dog, and by how accommodating they were to our newness and the children. The tech was great, and I like how they take the dog into another area to perform the care. We appreciated all of the advice and care that the Vet gave us, and it was an experience that solidified where we would go for his care. Very reasonable and competitive prices for puppy care, which was good but it was the other stuff that made it a very pleasant and enjoyable experience.

8416 Memorial Pkwy SW, HuntsvilleI just switched to South Huntsville Veterinary Hospital because they have always been a great supporter of our school (Mountain Gap) participating in our Career and STEAM Fair. Last week I took my 4 cats, and this past Tuesday, I took my dog for their annual checkup and shots. My dog is always a challenge having to start anxiety medicine the night before and the morning of so that she is not as aggressive towards the vet. On top of that I need to put on two muzzles (soft and hard). We saw Dr. Hertha and when he first came in my dog barked agressively at him, but Dr. Hertha took his time, sat down and my dog even came up to him to be petted. In the end Dr. Hertha is the first vet ever that has been able to examine her ears and eyes! I was even amazed that they were able to give her medicine through the mouth. I called him the dog whisperer. I am so glad we switched. Also, with both my cats and dogs, I received a call the next day checking to see how they were doing after the appointment which I thought was very nice. I highly recommend South Huntsville Veterinary Hospital.

Both the doctors and support staff are truly wonderful - something that feels pretty rare these days. They are always friendly, professional, and easy to reach, even for last-minute appointments.
We’re greeted with a smile at every visit, usually with no wait, and taken straight to an exam room. They consistently offer helpful advice, recommendations, and multiple price options. It’s clear they not only want and suggest what’s best for each pets well-being and quality of life, but look out for ours as well.
We’ve had to make the heartbreaking end-of-life decision twice under their care, and they were incredibly compassionate and respectful to both our sweet babies and to us. We now have two senior dogs—a small one with anxiety and a large one with mobility issues—and bringing them into the office isn’t always the best option. They are always understanding and accommodating.
Trusty Vet goes above and beyond, and we’re truly grateful for the exceptional care they provide.

They were able to give me an upfront estimate for my visit and the prices were very reasonable! And at the start of the checkup they went over all of my options and were happy to answer any questions I had without judgment.

I contacted Nick and scheduled an evaluation of my pup. In meeting Nick and asking questions, he reall totally understands the way dogs think and process commands. And knows how to properly and effectively train them. So I trusted Nick with my 8 month old Cane Corso for his 4 week board and train.Before training, my pup lacked confidence and was very reactive. When I went to pick my pup up, he was a totally different dog. He was so confident in himself and had no reaction to the things that he reacted to before. I learned so much from Nick on how to continue with the foundation that he laid out for my pup to continue to be my great companion. I now feel less anxious when taking my pup out because I have the tools to set me and my pup up for success. If you are looking for a great trainer for your dog, definitely give Nick a call. He's the best!

I began a major weight loss journey recently and couldn't figure out something that would be both good but also filling. I don't enjoy breakfast foods and I'm not a huge smoothie fan. I found Grain and Berry while searching for ideas and gave it a shot. Literally hooked. I was full the entire day and had no desire to cheat my diet. The fruit is healthy enough but also good enough to feel like you're eating a treat. I have never had anything but fresh, top quality food from here. I have been able to lose 40 pounds by making them part of my normal food rotation. So much so that I think I see the sweet employees more than my own family. When talking price it is about $14 for a bowl..(you also can get it for cheaper with their rewards program, which is probably one of the best/most generous I've ever seen from a food company) that price sounds heavy but not really. The bowl is packed to the brim with whatever fruit/toppings you request. There is never a lack of quality or a shortage of ingredients. I have recommended them to people who like me are also trying to eat better. I am so grateful to have found this place.

Drinks have the option of being blended, which is amazing on these hot southern days. The staff always seems upbeat & friendly. Fast service too. Sweet that they remembered Moms on Mother's Day with free decals. If you haven't tried this place, you are missing out. This is definitely our go to place & I highly recommend it!
